You know when I read a load of guff like this, I have to remind myself that approximately half the population have a below average IQ. It's not their fault.

Like other sensible people I agree that this is rubbish. ‘Love is love’ is not the future, legal boundaries around age, sex and consent are critical to safeguarding. Thankfully schools teach about consent.

We know that legally and biologically people cannot change sex, a male can’t become female and a female cannot become male. However a man can identify as a women and a woman can identify as a man but this is totally different to changing sex. Either way informed consent is critical.

I hope justice is served and the poor victim receives the help he needs.

myplace · 23/08/2025 08:13

“It's not that I am saying its acceptable, I cant even imagine it ever happening WITHOUT consent in the first instance.”

So now in addition to lacking smarts, you lack imagination.

Your statement echoes my mother’s when I told her I’d been raped. She’d never understood how it could happen, apparently. Yay. How nice for her.

So think of it this way- you can’t imagine it, yet it clearly happens and several people have been found guilty of it. The failure is yours.

Grow up and don’t make judgements about things you clearly don’t understand. Learn before you start making proclamations that display your ignorance.

  1. Men who say they prefer natural-looking women receive a lot of abuse and are told that they shouldn't be telling women how to style themselves.
  1. Women who go for the "Kardashian look" (or any other style that isn't natural) overwhelmingly state that they don't choose that style because men like it, and instead, they are "doing it for themselves." Men's opinions and preferences therefore are not relevant.

I think PPs point is that potential male victims of sexual assault by other men could protect themselves by deselecting women who wear a lot of make up and have lip fillers from their dating pool. This is wrong on a number of levels. Firstly, the onus placed on the victim. Secondly the implication that women who present in a certain way are indirectly abetting this crime by making it easier for men to 'pass'. Thirdly it's an attempt to shoe horn an anti filler agenda into a thread where it has no place, shifting the focus from a male on male crime to something women are doing 'wrong'.

I read through this thread over the course of a few hours.

Fascinating stuff that made me feel, if I'm totally honest, so very old and not to mention quite sexually out dated in view of the current curriculum which is way more inclusive and fluid now than it was when I was at school.

I'm 45 and from the days when identifying wasn't even really heard of and I never heard of anyone actually practicing it, nor did I ever read about it.

Whilst I do believe in my own mind what she did was wrong because they were much younger back then and she probably looked much different, I think eventually the laws will have to change to reflect what the youth of today are growing up with and accepting as the new inclusive norm and a safer world for all.

Love is love is the theme of the future, not just today. It is only the biological aspect that is holding us to the ground in that respect that we do still see a difference between men and women. But then we also have non binary people of all ages who are not male, nor are they female. They change sometimes too on a daily or sometimes even an hourly basis.

One thing I notice is that this wouldn't have even been an issue to be considered had she not sent him a message confirming that before the age of 7 she had lived as a male. I cant see this being much of an issue in the future as it will be a much more inclusive and accepting, safer space for everyone.

I feel concern for everyone involved and wish them all the very best if they are reading this. xx

You know when I read a load of guff like this, I have to remind myself that approximately half the population have a below average IQ. It's not their fault.

Wouldn't it be nice if straight men became less attracted to surgery face and lots of make up on a woman the so called kardashian look, and started to prefer natural looking girls again because that other style is trans style and too risky. Then these girls won't need to get surgery and spend all their time doing make up and hair. Probably hoping for too much sense from the kind of men who like that look.

Are you saying it’s ok for someone to coerce someone into non consensual sex? You’re condoning rape? Why are you wishing someone who coerced someone into non consensual sex the best?

No to all the above.
They are both young and confused and we are all looking at it from the way we were brought up and the schooling we had about sex education, now its quite the different world, it would appear she got the message but he might not have. Not that it's his fault and she should have been more understanding about his feelings also, I am not condoning anything, but neither do I have a magic wand to undo what happend.

Um. That man sexually assaulted his victim. Why are you minimising that? Would you say the same if it was a man without a trans identity doing that to a woman? Why does the sex of the victim matter? Why are you defending a rapist?

Brainworm · 22/08/2025 23:04

It’s amazing that there are 300 posts on this thread on FWR.

  • Consent involves making an informed decision.
  • sexual orientation is fundamental to sex
  • hiding your sex means you are negating the validity of consent given
  • people can choose to have casual sex, sex after a period of dating or sex after marriage. This is not relevant to the issue of consent.

It’s depressing that anyone visiting FWR would disagree with any of the points above.

SidewaysOtter · 22/08/2025 22:50

I won't quote @TheseWordsAreMine's post because it just clogs up the page but fuck me backwards, I've never read so much shite in my life.

If nothing else, "love is love is the theme of the future" is straight out of a PIE manifesto. There's so many red flags there it's like a communist rally, only less ethical.

But hey, it's the "future" way for the "youth" so it must be cool, yeah? Which is exactly how we ended up with PIE - the Paedophile Information Exchange - campaigning for the abolition of the age of consent and the rights of nonces. But hey, modern times eh? Get with the programme, Grandma.

Okay...transwomen and biological women go to bedroom. Biological women fancies penetrative sex. Transwomen happy to do so, asks her not to touch her down there as on period and would prefer to be in dark. Biological woman thinks transwomen is using a strap on. Not consent.

One male person who identified as a woman deliberately deceived another male person into taking part in a sexual act.

Given the massive (and quite rightly so) emphasis in schools in the last few years on understanding how consent works for both parties, I would think both parties should now understand how this works.

The victim did not give informed consent to being sexually involved with another male.

JamesWebbSpaceTelescope · 22/08/2025 22:34

TheseWordsAreMine · 22/08/2025 22:15

Well the message is to get to know the person you might be falling in love with and to find out who they are BEFORE you have sex with them.

Regardless of it being a trans thing, that is what used to happen in the "good old days".

It sounds like the problem some of you are having isn't with me at all, but the new way of learning the youth are being introduced to. That's my observation here. And in no way have I ever mentioned the perversion of sex with minors, I'm talking to the people who mentioned it above, not to the person I am quoting.

Don’t be daft - casual sex and other sex acts have always been a thing!

We get to choose the sex acts and with whom ever we want, as soon as there is deception there isn’t consent.

In the hypothetical above I’m assuming the woman thought she was going to be penetrated by a sex toy (like a strap on) but instead it was a real penis. That is rape as there wasn’t consent. Very similar to stealthing, consent to sex with penis in a condom is not the same as consent to a penis.

TheseWordsAreMine · 22/08/2025 22:34

It's not that I am saying its acceptable, I cant even imagine it ever happening WITHOUT consent in the first instance.

BeLemonNow · 22/08/2025 22:31

TheseWordsAreMine · 22/08/2025 21:55

Was the biological woman there when it happend?

It's rather hard (pardon the pun) not to notice the difference. If it was in the dark I suppose that could happen. However, sex is sex at the end of the day, it's up to the two of them to find out what's happening before it takes place. You cant get around that unless they met in the dark and never saw each others bodies.

I don't really see how your scenario could ever happen in the first place. It rather paints the biological women as you explain in a rather bimbo like light that radiates only ignorance, even if they are in pitch black darkness.

What would the biological woman possibly think was going on other than a penis unless it was stated something was going to have to be added in order for that to take place? It's not rape no, she consented and I hope a woman like that in 2025 doesn't exist.

I'm afraid it has happened, where someone has used a strap on instead of a penis or vice versa. Evidently they often also do have to set the scene up so their penis v strap-om on isn't visible.

People have sex in the dark under covers. Everyone has the right to set their limits, perhaps lying like this offender they don't want to be touched "down under" because of a period.

Some transwomen, biological men who claim a female gender identity, claim lesbians should accept their penises, and that fundamentally they are not different enough to matter.

It's rape. It's not consensual. Like many on here I'm upset you see this as acceptable - I used the example expecting to show you a parallel to this court case, not that you would be okay with it.

The period lie is was wrong. Had he waited she would have had no excuse but to tell him the truth. They should have explored each others minds before sex.

There is no she in this situation.

I read it as the offender, I refuse to use she, learned that you should accept everyone and have no boundaries, and the victim is not as lovely and broadminded.

Which is victim blaming and frankly outrageous.

There's certainly no love involved in duping someone into sex.

Quite.

I can't engage with this shit anymore, it's too much.

Agree, Arabella engaging with those who victim blame and make comments that sail far too close to those made by rape and sexual assault apologists not to mention the use of a well known mantra used by PIE is not my idea of a good way to spend a Friday night.

@TheseWordsAreMine Hypothetically, suppose a transwoman has penetrative sex with a biological woman. The transwomen does not tell her that she is penetrating her with a real penis. The biological woman only finds out later and would not have agreed to this if she had known. Would you consider that rape?

Yes, I would. Also stealthing, sex by deception etc. But, yes, rape.

Victim blaming crap. I’ve never read such unethical nonsense in my life. If only the victim realised their attacker was really nice chap beneath it all. He really loved his gran.

I am going to assume you are either dangerously stupid or just larking about. Either way there’s no point talking to you.
