Quite ironic that back in the late 80's that corner was actually the site of Nottingham's only lesbian club, Casablanca. An absolute dive, but we loved it. There were loads of gay clubs, but only one "Casa".

Yes, the old Victorian underground ones disappeared when they destroyed the old Slab Square and wasted an awful lot of money on posh (and incidentally very slidey) Italian granite about twenty years ago. Now the public toilets are in a small l-shaped cut through called Greyhound Street close to the statue of Brian Clough/Speaker's Corner.

Yes, the old Victorian underground ones disappeared when they destroyed the old Slab Square and wasted an awful lot of money on posh (and incidentally very slidey) Italian granite about twenty years ago. Now the public toilets are in a small l-shaped cut through called Greyhound Street close to the statue of Brian Clough/Speaker's Corner.

I recall being ‘kettled’ by this lot during one of their massive whinge-fests. The stench of them still lingers in my nostrils.🤮 Can’t imagine it being particularly pleasant for the general public on a hot sunny day.

As they've been banned from bathrooms, they can't have a bath, so it's not their fault.

The only toilets reasonably near are in Wetherspoons.

Marks isn’t too far. And will give them an interesting dilemma. Join the massive queue for the ladies, or you know. Nip in the gents.

Well when I looked on twitter I couldn't find anything about it but there was an extinction rebellion die-in and a Ukraine die-in both in Nottingham in the last couple of years.

They just laid all all over the floor.

Which could be interesting if no one has thought to check about the beach event.
