Tbh what Planet is really upset about is the possibility that some men will have to use the men's toilet and nobody will challenge them.

There is another thread on this subject, and somebody has made the excellent point that the kind of people who spit on other people are unlikely to be influenced by the UK Supreme Court's rulings😏

Well, the other thing is, some women and girl are asked and some of those numerous times. But none of us are getting abused and we also don’t consider it an act of abuse or in any way problematic when it does happen.

So, yes. It happens that we are asked. No we are not being abused as it is so often being framed by those who are seeking to leverage getting male people accepted into female spaces.

For many women, they will never be asked or will not be the one asking because they can reliably work out someone’s sex. But even those of us who are / have been asked, we don’t / didn’t consider it as an act of offence or abuse. I suspect when people say it ‘never happens’ they are referring to it never happens to them, and if it happened to them it was not an offensive or abusive thing as what has been catastrophised by so many activists seeking to shame people who want female spaces to be female only.

You need to get your story straight. You can’t simultaneously claims this never happens, while also citing ‘GC’ people who say it happens to them all the time but they don’t have a problem with it.

Also if you think this point hasn’t been raised before ad nauseum you’ve not been paying attention. The impacts of greater gender policing have been discussed by (real) feminists for years.

So where did they pee before the SC ruling? Are they suggesting that no one attacked them because they assumed they were male? I really don't believe this. I've been in plenty of loos with GNC women. You can still tell they are women.

Isn't it strange how all these articles suddenly came up only after the ruling? People didn't seem to care about women being harassed in toilets until they were told that males couldn't go in and suddenly its a huge issue.

That a man abused a woman because he thought she was a man is the man’s issue. It is wrong to blame his actions on women who want single sex spaces.

And the reality is as so many have said prior to this, if men never claimed access to female single sex spaces, women and girls would also not be in the situation where they are hyper vigilant about who is in their spaces.

When you strip away all the emotional shielding, male people demanded access to spaces and services that that were never entitled to, yet groups are blaming the female people who reject those male people being there rather than the male people causing distress and hypervigilence in female people. At a time when male violence and abuse of women and girls is at significant levels.

It is certainly not likely to be a woman concerned about sex based rights and protections who goes around spitting on people......so I'm not sure why this thread is here? There are, and always have been, really unevolved people who pick on those that are different or stand out for some reason in public spaces.

Picking on people for their red hair, for being overweight, for being of another race, for being overtly camp or butch, for being an attractive young woman, for being an elderly woman, for being disabled...and so on.

Eek, yes, iphone saves HEIC format, but apparently you can use the “files” app to make a copy into a folder, and then “export” it to a new file format eg jpeg.

But that was quite longwinded, so a screenshot seems to be a more attractive option!

Ooh, I haven’t checked the file format or whether I can actually use it… will go and have a rummage..

I too have saved the graphic for future use!

I had to take a screenshot though, as saving the photo the usual way (as Nutmeg described) was the wrong format for some reason.

If I click and hold on the image on my phone, it asks if I would like to save it to “photos” so I said “yes”. This could be an iPhone thing though.

I refuse to believe that you are incredibly stupid and I certainly am not the most adept with this sort of thing, I just took a photo of it on my phone, cropped it, and saved it to my photo library, after @nauticant very kindly posted it. I hope that helps 🥰

I can save this page to my laptop, but as a web file rather than a jpeg, so I don't know how useful that format is.
