Dont give me that bollocks! Actually the Left ‘left’ us behind and actually I am bloody cross about it. Women’s rights were considered a pain in the arse as we kept pushing for things such as equal pay and maternity rights. The sort of things that the Left don’t think really matter.

Labour’s Women conference? Cancelled because of men! It’s always got to be about men and not us. I am bloody fuming. Don’t give me any of this second wave shit. It’s men who have fucked this all up.

You would have thought by now that some TRAs would have cottoned on that aggression isn’t winning them any friends. I am hoping that these images will find their way in front on CEOs etc and they will start to recognise that this is not a good look.

Are you saying that a common belief that people can't change sex means that we're 'aligning with the conservative right'?

If that's true, then it means that if we didn't want to 'align with the conservative right' we'd have to hold a totally irrational belief that people can change sex.

Maybe a trope, just what I’ve noticed from outside, optics of the movement are right wing now but I do think it’s part of increased conservatism in general- I’m pro free speech so conservative isn’t a dirty word for me, just an observation, I don’t hear much from the second wave school of thought anymore (my bread and butter as a uni student lol)

im not GC in the sense that no, I’m not particularly critical of gender stereotypes, harmful ones yes but we all live with stereotypes to some degree

gender critical means critical of gender stereotypes so I assume if you're not GC you believe that performing stereotypical female behaviours and presenting in stereotypical female clothes/hair/make up is all that's required to be a woman

Like all movements, there's a variety of views - it's not a hive mind. Some are conservative, but a lot of GC women - me included - would say that they're actually fairly left wing. But we didn't leave the Left, the Left left us when it took up gender woo nonsense and threw women and their rights under the bus.

It’s interesting how the gender critical movement has swung from a second-wave, leftist movement to almost entirely neoconservative- or at least it seems like the main figures are. This lady has argued for women staying at home with kids rather than going to work etc- not really a win for feminism in the second wave understanding. None of the lesbian separatism that used to be common either.

Was in London when this march was taking place, was not aware that it was going to happen as London Pride has been and gone.

The people going to it were "interesting" (I can't say much more within guidelines), outside of those marching no else cared, they just blocked off the road making it difficult to cross.

Noticed a lot of smug gay men attending wearing "no LGB without the T" t-shirts at an event for T without the LGB.

Or are you claiming those children are acting independently but any young person refusing to bow to the ideology is acting under the influence of their parents?

If her parents said to her, "you're female and having female rights is a good thing", would that be wrong?

I really admire younger women who are open about their sex realist views! It must be really hard when so many women in their teens and twenties have been ideologically captured by gender woo, I should imagine it’s quite isolating .
