I don't believe she has ever once been kicked out of a toilet, far less 'often'. She's clearly and visibly female. What a pile of pish.

People hanging around outside public toilets, wearing badges, and offering to accompany people inside sounds like it could get you a police caution at best.

For a while back before COVID-19, I knew a slew of families where a puberty-rejecting daughter became a non-binary male-presenting child. This later changed to NB trans masc as the category.

I have to say, I’d quite like her off kid’s TV. As PP’s have noted, she has a shaky understanding of safeguarding and general sexist and muddled thinking. Not a great role model. There must be non confused and sexist butch lesbians out there that the BBC could put on the telly

Surely most women would run a mile from a stranger telling us we’re safe with them? And would make sure their children know to do the same? You can almost see the carefully sheathed claws. So the badge could be a useful sign of who not to trust!

Well £10,000 buys a lot of badges and I assume there will be pressure at the BBC to show them.

Each and every time anyone talks about ‘safety’ in this context, questions need to be asked about what dangers are faced.

I doubt she has been ‘kicked out’ of any SSS. She may have been questioned as to whether she should be there. It’s highly unlikely that, having been questioned, she has been asked to leave - because you can tell she’s female when she talks. Even if these things happen, they are not dangerous - more like unpleasant and/or upsetting.

What makes someone ‘unsafe’ in her eyes? Probably someone who won’t validate or affirm her gender identity. The quality of her life, and those she shares her worldview with, would improve if she stopped regarding non violent, polite people who believe sex matters as dangerous.

This will be picked up by the anti BBC media and rightly so.

The only place you will see these badges will be in areas where people are already OK with men in womens toilets as a way of ingratiating into a certain community.

From a personal safety perspective it seems like a terrible idea to encourage vulnerable and sexually confused individuals to follow a stranger into a public toilet because the stranger is wearing a badge that signals that they are willing to disregard social boundaries and to break the law.

Safer to visualise these labels as reg flags instead of yellow badges!

It means a woman who doesn't want to be seen as a woman and who wears masculine clothes. But doesn't want to be seen as a man either, hence transmasculine not transman. So a 'person' who looks masculine.

I’ve never kicked anyone out of a toilet, I’ve never seen anyone being kicked out of a toilet, no one I know has ever seen anyone being kicked out of a toilet. I’m very surprised that this has happened “often” to this person who at a glance is clearly of the female sex.
