I also struggle with this logic. We are told by the MRA's that gender identity is something an individual feels inside and no-one else can tell someone how they feel or how they identify. But as soon as an Isla Byron comes along it's then fine to say but he's not a genuine trans.

We are either to believe people or we are not. I personally don't care who's "genuine trans" or not as they are all men.

It must be the saddest of lives if your biggest thrill is using a public toilet.

But you can't just dismiss the odious ones as not being trans.

When women complain about trans identified men in female spaces the TRAs and be kinders insist that "transwomen" aren't a danger or a problem and all the trans people they know are lovely.

When you supply examples of trans identified men causing problems the refrain is usually that those are not genuine transwomen.

Deciding whether someone is or is not "genuinely trans" based on their behaviour allows people to hand wave away the risks to women.

It's not really about whether he's genuinely trans or not. Just that he's an odious cunt. I respect trans people who identify as trans but know they are not the opposite sex and never will be.

Honestly, I think it would be great to have a special word and identity for the people of both sexes who like girlie stuff to bond under. It just shouldn't be any of the words that are associated with the female sex. (Including "girlie")

When JKR organised that lunch, India really seemed to struggle with the fact that some of the women had very short hair & no makeup & were wearing trousers. And yet they counted as women & he didn’t.

My husband loves love island. He’s also quite into fashion. And coffee. Wait until he realises he’s 75% woman.
Of the list, I do wear makeup so by his criteria, I’m 25% women. Still, all is not lost, between us, we are 100% one woman.
