I'm a nerdy type of person, and a lot of of my obscure hobbies (online) are overrun by TRAs. It's pretty inhospitable if you disagree with anything and doubly frustrating to be amongst people who say things like "priest and nun were genders" and "nobody knew what male/female were until colonism" lol. You can post an image of like idk bread and someone will reply to it with "woah this bread is so gender"

I miss my hobbies but I hate the people who inhabit them. So I suppose I can say it's impacted me by ruining the things I love.

DARVOing is currently a big thing for trans posters, I'm keeping a list of examples of things that have been said on here to critique trans ideology being mirrored back - without any explanation or justification of course.

Some quick examples - 'cognitive dissonance' 'the law as it is and not as you want it to be' 'you have been lied to' 'trans people are just a tiny percentage of the population'

These words and phrases have frequently been used by GC feminists in discussing trans ideology, and all of them have recently been 'mirrored' back by trans posters.

It's interesting to see that not just words but actions being 'mirrored' - violent acts which have been perpetrated AGAINST GC women being reversed as perpetrated BY GC women.

Once you're aware of the 'mirroring', you'll spot it when it's used.

You're gaslighting and DARVOing. It is the trans activists who threaten to rape and bash and murder GC feminists, who say we should be raped til our uterus ruptures, we should be skinned alive, burned alive, die in a grease fire etc. You TRAs are so vile and vicious with your hate you can't help but react to every woman and threaten them then play the victim.

Women are not the ones giving rape threats, death threats and urinating on feminist statues. Your mob are. Own it. That's what you are.

It affects me at a simple level if any resources allocated for 'women' are now being split over a larger number of people. This can be money, space, time, attention.

It affects anyone who is only able (because of culture, experience) to use facilities if they can be confident that single sex means exactly that. Without that confidence, they are excluded even if in fact the facility is normally single sex.

It's not kind to take these particular sex-based boundaries down. Most of the time we don't need sex-based boundaries at all but when we need them we need them to be truly sex-based not gender identity. The Supreme Court got that right. Usually there can be unisex alternatives as well, and taken together we get to protect everyone. Which is kind.

How does it affect me? Just be kind when your brother is told in therapy that he is not gay, he is a woman. Who now has to dilate twice a day. And still has all of the mental health problems (and more) he had before he attended therapy sessions led by a specialist in gender issues.
