What do whips, spandex and dog masks have to do with Pride?

They're kinks/fetishes right? Not related to sexual orientation. Also why are they anything to be 'proud' of? Your closest friends would probably find it pretty odd (and stomach turning!) if you told them your OH likes to wear your undies, or what gets you off is him licking your feet... Why is proclaiming what should be personal and private turn-ons to the general public any better? Why should they be glad for you in any way for being so open about it?

Quite rightly no one seems to be minded to report it, and I doubt very much that That Poster, or the Other Poster, will be coming back anywhere near this thread now to do so.

I think for once EVERYONE is happy for the vile things written by one poster to stand for all eternity!

To anyone deciding to post in agreement with what one man has written on this thread ...

WE SEE YOU

I guess this is not just confined to Pride parades. This image is so disturbing sadly I cannot do a sensitive warning .

This is what happens when adults allow children to witness kink.

I'm just going outside to throw things at the wall.

God I'm angry.

INeedAPensieve · 06/07/2025 20:17

Jeez this has been an eye opening thread. I hope the lurkers read it from start to finish and understand what wiser women than me have been saying about this stuff for years.

It's so revealing. I'm glad screenshots have been taken of the 'interesting' posts.

If your children assaults other children, that's on you, not on seeing kinks.

My kids are very well taught in body integrity and consent, including being able to tell me "I do not want a hug right now" and that gets respected.

I bet yours tell you that a lot. They are having to form their own boundaries and sense of privacy with no help from you.

Shortshriftandlethal · 06/07/2025 19:52

BeeSouriante · 06/07/2025 07:58

Pride is a protest and a celebration, if you struggle with what consenting adult gay men and women do, then may I suggest you just stay away. It's not like 99.5% LGBTQ people want you any 'gender critical' types there anyway.

They're protesting against people like the people on here ffs.

Another one who seems to have no awareness of appropriate and healthy boundaries.

Pride has had its day. It has now become degenerate. Do what you want in private with your partner's consent...but the public at large has no desire to see it.

Shortshriftandlethal · 06/07/2025 19:42

AidaP · 05/07/2025 21:13

Why is it one or the other?

My kids are with me and my wife at many prides, kink is involved, it's never a problem. Just like topic of sex is never a problem in our house, neither is the topic of kink sex. If they are old enough to ask, they are old enough to get an answer, as detailed as they are willing to keep asking.

Whereas many parents think that by creating some sheltered existence their kids won't find about it, completely ignoring that if you turn on prime time tv you will see the same, and more, than you will on pride. Or if you google, really, anything.

How old are your children, i wonder? And how do you model appropriate boundaries to your children? Or do you think boundaries are just for "pearl clutchers'?

Parents need to read this and see what happens when predators are able to openly share their fetish with children while everyone is too frightened to object for fear of being called "prudes and pearl clutchers".

Children get abused.

Some of the comments are eye opening. A mother basically being told to go away and be kind by the school when she raised concerns about this, the police were also highly involved with the child rapist. This is heading towards another PIE type scandal, not just in regards to stephen ireland but within the entire pride movement. Dont forget that people who want to abuse children will flock to any organisation that allows them to further this goal. All will come out eventually and people like the person in this thread will scurry back under their rocks, until the next time.

Blokes like ‘Aida’ are ten a penny, especially on Twitter. Men for whom the air of scolding women is a turn on. They’re not interested in facts or debate, it’s all just grist for their dodgy mills.

Inadequate men who get a kick out of making provocative statements which women will quite rightly challenge. I find it hilarious that these men think they are ‘living as a woman.’ Their maleness is visible from space in everything they say and do.

MarieDeGournay · 06/07/2025 17:48

I'm not going to improve on the many excellent points made by other posters, but I'd like to pick up on some revealing things that AidaP said about Pride:

.. that's at the core is what's it about - accepting and loving people of all makes, besides haters.

Shocking stat: most people at any major pride are not actually part of LGBTQ, just supporters.

So there you have it: Pride is not about lesbians and gays anymore, and according to AidaP, it's not even about LGBTQ people anymore, it's about 'people of all makes', and most of the people who turn up at it aren't LGBTQ at all.

So Pride is about absolutely everybody except haters. And possibly The Wrong Kind of Lesbians.

It sounds like a great big amorphous anything, really. No wonder it's losing support and sponsorship.

That also was part of pride since the very beginning at stonewall.
Do you mean Stonewall the organisation or Stonewall the bar and riot?
Two very different things! We know from contemporaneous reports what happened at the Stonewall riots, and attempts to retrospectively trans it have fallen flat, so I'm assuming you mean Stonewall the organisation.

WTF is a "transbian"?

A transwoman in a relationship with a woman?

A transwoman in a relationship with another transwoman?

A lesbian in a relationship with a transwoman?

It’s a bloke who has ‘ transitioned’ but still wants to have sex with a woman ( one of the old fashioned cu—-ty sort , not the variety with 🍆& 🎾🎾). So that makes him a transbian , a trans woman lesbian….. 💨)

Helleofabore · 06/07/2025 17:21

Remember children’s autonomy about their bodies, and lowered boundaries were used by a group of adults to convince the French government to lower the age of consent. Only ‘prudish’ people with outdated views stood up and said this is wrong.

The decision resulted in 14 year old ‘lovers’ for many of those ‘intelligencia’ who fought for that law change. One of those was Foucault, a ‘father’ of queer theory.

There is precedence for lowering children’s boundaries for those supporting queer theory, which of course included gender identity theory.

"Mom, why are those people doing X?"
me: Well, apparently they enjoy it, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Not sure why do you think any of that leads to child services intervention. It may offend your 1920's fake puritanism, but that's about it.

I reckon there is a good chance that your children are home schooled. Would I be right in that assumption?

So your advice on this was Mom, why are those people doing X?"
me: Well, apparently they enjoy it, and there is nothing wrong with that.

So the kid took that on board and chats to his friend who also thinks it sounds fun and adds in some extra ‘moves’ that he saw some other men doing at Pride. Something to do with their bottoms.

School teacher sees this, correctly recognises an inappropriate level of sexual knowledge in these two which could indicate CSA or at the very least grooming and raises the alarm with Social services.

Adults have a responsibility not to expose children to inappropriate sexual activity, it’s sad for your girls you don’t seem to understand that.

How many women are acceptable as collatoral damage? Please give us a figure, was another good one.

Oh yes.

The answer was over 100 per year. Then we could care and discuss it, before that our discussions were pure hate and ignorance. You are right, another male person.

RedToothBrush · 06/07/2025 17:00

Helleofabore · 06/07/2025 16:50

I think it is quite inevitable that a male person who doesn’t recordise female people’s boundaries and consent has no concept of children’s boundaries and their consent to be exposed to such things.

It is very true to that all transpeople will be safeguarding concerns. However, it is to be expected that at least the same proportion of male people in the population of transgender male people will be safeguarding concerns as the safeguarding concerns in the general male population. I suspect though that those who publicly announce their actions on social media don’t restrict it to one platform either.

And that there is some kind of benefit to them to publicise their lack of safeguarding understanding on a feminist board. However, just like a poster who posted that female teenagers should learn about and have anal sex to remove the stigma from male teenagers, just like one who declared that being asexual was an acceptable outcome for children who undergo ‘affirming’ treatment, and just like posters and media commentators who state that they engage in or support what is called sex by deception, they have one thing in common.

They are all male people. And they indicate clearly that they don’t recognise the need for consent or boundaries.

And they spend a lot of time telling women that they are hateful for rejecting male people who demand to be treated as if they are female.

Having read through the whole thread, I was getting more and more angry that the vile comment from a certain individual regarding teaching children that whips and chains were there to enjoyed was still standing.
However, it can only bring more sunlight and I’m hoping more than a few lurkers who may still subscribe to the bekind opinion are reading and swiftly changing their minds.

We can see who you really are pushing your kinks and perversions on to children and eventually you’re going to cause your own downfall.

Crack on lads!
