Univ of Pennsylvania agrees to strip Lia Thomas of titles

He is the one who decided to game the system.

And actively worked to include more men in womens swimming.

The school (staff and admin) has to answer for its own actions but he made his choice.

I'd be happier if the university had come to this decision because they realised it's the right thing to do. But I'm betting it was more to do with the government withholding 175 million dollars in funding.

Thomas is a huge guy, obviously male performing very well in the womans events, and people claimed he was 5 foot 7, not winning events and indistinguishable from the other competitors.

If - IF there was any measure in place to limit 'trans' competitors only to those whose reach or height etc lay within the normal female range, even including female outliers, this might be a coherent argument. But the fact that this argument ignores the fact that females with male typical limb length are extremely rare, whilst within the male population such individuals are common, and that qualifying female athletes by gender identity doesn't exclude any males, including those who are outliers in the male category, means it is disingenuous, dishonest bullshit.

The txt just complains about the swimmer's transphobia and how awful she is. The tweet just says "haha, she'll be getting the apology letter too"

I am delighted at this news and have not one iota of sympathy for William at all. He knew what he was doing, he enjoyed dominating and intimidating those women knowing there was nothing they could do and he stole prizes and opportunities that he had no right to.
