You are quite correct, transwomen are men and it’s the men part and not the trans part that is the issue.

We don’t want men in our spaces no matter how they identify. We don’t want the nice ones and we obviously don’t want the nasty ones partly because we don’t know which ones are nice.

No one is saying that ALL Transwomen are a threat to women. But your argument seems to be that none are and you must know surely that that is just not true. And it’s not just about a man being a threat, we just want our own stuff without men being present and the EA 2010 allows for that in certain situations. Why do you NOT want us to have those spaces?

It's all so very simple yet people make it all so complicated. If you are a male, then you can't use female spaces. If you are a female, then you can't use male spaces. It's not possible to change chromosomes, therefore, it is not possible to change sex. We separate spaces where people are most vulnerable based on sex alone and that should be respected.

Trans-people, for example a male who identifies as a lady should be free to identify as they choose and wear whatever they choose (as long as not indecently exposing themselves) and the same goes for a female who feels as though they are a man. The constant sniping and mocking about issues that don't relate to safety don't do the cause of women's safety and good.

The mind and mental state of being are two different things, that's why we have mental health and physical health. It doesn't matter how many operations a male has, they won't ever be a female. And it doesn't matter if a female has their breasts removed and a prosthetic penis attached, they will still be a female.

That said, the trans group of people should be able to live freely and without ridicule or harassment. My post is not intended to incite hatred or harassment against the trans sector of people.

Small venues should allow trans-identified persons to use the singular, universal cubicles and larger venues with more space available should have a designated cubicle for people who are gender-non-conforming.

Some of the debate needs to be had but a lot of people have jumped on the bandwagon for their own personal gain.

Any sensible, informed parent would be concerned if their child wanted to ‘transition’. The ‘treatment’ is damaging, brutal and (reference Cass) not even an actual treatment. I’m glad my kids haven’t chosen a pathway of sterilisation, lack of sexual pleasure and possibly constant pain and other medical problems.

The trans movement has serious misogyny and homophobia problems which it needs to address. You can call the women who call out that misogyny penis obsessed if you like but you just look like you have no idea what you're talking about and it doesn't help anyone, trans or otherwise.

There was quite a lot of talk about drake penises on MN at one point - I think it was just one of those phases. They do sound pretty nasty though.
