It’s so clear now that men like George and Stephen are using JKR for headlines to try and stay relevant.

I had a shifty at BG insta and he’s got (terrible) new music out, clearly aimed at a particular audience.

Lorraine is just not very deep of thought I don’t think.

Does anyone reckon Geezer George would even have been on Lorraine's show if he hadn't had this spat with JKR?

I find it fascinating that as women we are made to be the criminals for saying ‘actually I want to pee or poop or change my sanpro in a space where I know there are just women’.

The phrase ‘why are GC obsessed with toilets’ or as LK says ‘why is all about toilets’ is basically minimising and dismissing what women want.

I am not obsessed with others genitals, but I do care about my and my fellow women and girls felt and real safety.

Lorraine - just because you don’t mind sharing a toilet with a trans woman you don’t get to abuse your privilege as a wealthy, well connected, celebrity to dictate what other women find uncomfortable and at times scary.

I wasn't going to seek out the clip as watching Lorraine Kelly gives me the same feeling as running my fingernails down a chalkboard, but I've just seen it on Instagram.

What has BG done to himself? He looks like he'd come straight from the dentist's chair and his mouth was still numb. Why was he slurring and dribbling slightly?

Why does he not know that JKR is an author not a film director?

Why does Lorraine persist with the hand-wringing, faux-bewildered 'I just wish we could all talk nicely' and 'be fair' act while mocking and laughing at JKR and agreeing with BG - the man convicted of kidnap and assault - saying she's a horrible person. Why does no one at ITV have a word with her about self-awareness? Why is she given such a massive platform when she has negative amounts of journalistic integrity?

And a note to BG - men's toilets might be horrible stinky places, because men piss everywhere and don't clean up after themselves, but women's toilets tend to be a lot nicer. Which is one reason, amongst many more weighty ones, why we'd like men to stay the fuck out of them.

That is six blokes who have come out and told JKR what a terrible person she is just in the last week.

None have made a coherent argument against points she made in her essay.

None of them have shown any signs that they have even bothered to read it.

They just all portray her as a crazy woman on twitter but none of them would last a minute if they debated the issues with her instead of just chucking mud and telling themselves how kind they are

You misunderstood.

The tactic used by transactivists until recently was to ensure male prisoners could be sent to womens prisons if they claimed to be transgender. This was a deliberate tactic as they reasoned that if transwomen in womens prisons were a done deal it would be much easier to also ensure usage of and entry to other womens single sex spaces.

This failed spectaculairly so they switched tactics. If toilets can be mixed sex, then start arguing for changing rooms and then for hospital wards, then rape therapy groups etc etc. Toilets is the foot in the door. I want it slammed shut as I do no trust transactivists to think of anyone but themselves.

BG enrages me. His twitter includes a pic of him with his dad, stating that his father had no problem with having a gay son. Indeed, his father did not take issue with his sons sexuality.

What he did do was ruthlessly and ceaselessly batter BG's mother from shortly after they met until he finally left her for another woman when the kids were all adults. BG's brother murdered his own wife.

When BG's patents were newly engaged, he beat her severely in his own family home, only stopping when his dad shouted 'will you stop beating that girl, you're keeping the whole house up' or similar.

BG comes from the most disturbing disfunction imaginable, so all the comments about his loving family are well meant ignorance. He is the product of generational abuse and he is bringing it into this generation.

That woman has less strength about her than a well used sheet of bogroll that's been in a full septic tank for nine years.

I don't understand where this idea suddenly comes from that toilets aren't important. Of course they are. Toilets are something every woman uses everyday and to have safe and accessible toilets available outside the home and at work is vital. For woman who want their toilets at work and out shopping/socialising to be free of men, toilets are an issue that concerns them every day potentially.

George is regretting his mantrum at JKR.

After he called her a rich bully, she pointed out that he was rich and famous from a young age. She also pointed out that most violent crime is committed by men - like him.

Now he's trying to play it down by saying 'the internet' makes strangers argue with each other and really there should be less hate online.
