British man arrested after hiring out Disney park to marry 9 year old Ukrainian girl

I hope this is investigated fully and they find out where the money for this came from. This guy needs locking up, that poor girl 😟

I'm sure it will come out in the trial but where does an ex con, who has spent time in prison get over 100K to waste on a bad taste 'prank'? I think a money laundering charge has been put before him too (amongst other charges).

The mother might be incredibly naive, but I’m somewhat at the idea that a 9yo would have loved a big wedding and being fake-married to an adult male stranger. If anything I would hope that child protective services wherever they normally reside
are going to keep an eye on them.

When I read about the Disneyland thing it did make me think of that fake film premiere weirdo who hired all those child actors to faint and swoon over him in Leicester Square a year or so ago.

A brief search on his name reveals a range of things: a directorship, other stunts, 'prior'. This sort of thing seems to be what he does. This is an escalation.

This. The man gets off on creating his fantasy. The whole thing sounds like something in a TV drama I saw but I can't remember which one (plot was dodgy bloke creates a fake scene for his own sexual gratification but someone must have died to have a murder to investigate to fit the crime drama scenario I would have been watching).

All I can think of is it must have been part of a fantasy for him- a video of him marrying a little girl at Disneyland. No doubt to be added to a dodgy porn site. And yet obviously it was not going to go unnoticed?

Maybe the part about all the attention is also part of his fantasy? I'm past the point of being shocked at how depraved some men can be, and how determined to pursue their perverted fantasies no matter what the inevitable consequences. Still horrified by them though.

I'd assume that wealthy paedophiles (the Epstein types) would usually want to keep it away from prying eyes and buy their own island or estate.
