Ah, apologies, this is Nottingham Trans Pride. Their other Pride was some weeks ago.

I think many LGB people now feel that way.

This performance is a parody of what it began as. But this is what the TQ+ movement tend to do with everything; possess it, empty it, distort it, break it past all repair and then abandon it and the devastation left behind them and rampage on in search of the next thing to grab.

Sadly, where the local Newspaper shared an article about the coming Pride events, at least 30% of reactions and comments were negative.

I’m really sad that it now has such an appalling reputation.

By a twit vapidly beaming away who would have a panic attack on the spot if they actually encountered any real kind of challenge, such as an old women disagreeing with them, never mind any actual, real experience in their life of a threat to their physical safety.

These idiots live overprivileged and entirely detached lives in online fantasy worlds where nothing's real.

Kevin was not allowed to do Maths past second year, after the ongoing incident.

He still maintains that '80087355' is 'really funny' for anyone who isn't an 'old poo-head', but nobody else seems to agree.

There are women passionately being kind, being mummy, being performatively lovely, embracing their saviour complex etc etc, I have friends who are otherwise quite sane but flip into batshit mode if a man presses certain buttons. Mostly they've so far lacked any eye opening experiences. (But these will eventually happen.)

But it's fine. They can go into the third spaces with men and validate them with their bodies to their hearts content.

A comment on the other site (sorry to quote that site again but it really is the gift that keeps on giving):

"If I go to trans pride, then the expectation is that it will be about trans pride.
Activist spaces are becoming tiring. You are constantly expected to be an expert and activist for every atrocity ever. If you are unable to do this you are hounded for not caring enough.
Constantly parroting the same chants over and over again as is happening here and at the event feels performative, not genuine."

This is it. #bekind doesn't mean 'be kind' - it's means 1.) it works one way only 2.) it means - be manipulated and suppressed into adopting our agenda and sacrificing your own beliefs or we will get very nasty indeed. It's just most people haven't woken up yet..
