Why is this subforum so intent on removing voices that dont' agree?

I'm just catching up on the thread. It's odd that the relevance of my post is being questioned when there are dozens of posyers randomly spamming drink recipes. Isn't spamming again the talk guidelines on here? It is on most forums.

I'm not sure what you're asking. My post is about people trying to censor opinions that they disagree with. In this example somebody saying "well, most women aren't bad either but we can't tell who the good ones are".

Not read the whole thread (nor am familiar with OP's posting history) but I've seen what they describe tbf.

Somebody mentioned the other day that women are the main perpetrators of non-sexual child abuse and several posters called them a liar, demanded proof, and literally said "I'm reporting this post". The post then suddenly disappeared along with several others by the same poster despite the linked studies being legitimate ones published by the US govt.

The posting seemed to me to be on topic (as opposed to being blatant trolling). The poster was just disagreeing with the popular opinion on here and saying that if we can't identify the good men then surely the same goes for women - people were backing up their argument with stats around male sexual assault so she mentioned female child abuse.

I think the admin sometimes just delete posts that have a few reports against them and assume that the poster will message them to query the deletion/ban if they're a genuine poster.

How is it relevant? Are you suggesting we give up our rights to single sex spaces because some women are evil?

I love a Pimms, or an Aperol Spritz or best of all, a Caipirinha made by my sister.
The Times thinks the Aperol spritz is being replaced this summer by Hugo. Hugos have been popular in Germany for a years.

Hugos are disgusting - but that's because they are usually sweet and i detest sweet (I am in Germany, i have tried many many Hugos)

Spritzers are very common here, i love an Aperol because they'Re bitter. The other day i had a lavender spritz and it was awesome.

I can't stand Aperol Spritz. In bars I like a Bramble or a Floradora.

A cocktail I invented for my rhubarb loving husband -

Double shot vodka
Single shot strawberry liqueur
Single shot lemon juice
Can of Cawston Press Rhubarb

It's really difficult when it's that really common mistake of saying the opposite of what you mean, by leaving out a not or n't. That's something I would ever do.

Quick question though, @Waitwhat23 , what constitutes a "large glass" of gin/vodka? Like a wine glass?

Basically a pretty full wine glass.

One note though, the liqueurs are deceptively strong. I thought 'oh, they'll be not too bad' but my husband tested the ABV with his machine and it's quite high!

Very nice with prosecco.
