Outspoken TRA 'Legaltweetz' suddenly turns against transactivitism

I smell a rat here. It could be a setup by the trans community. People seldom detransition overnight out of the blue with no warning. I wouldn't be surprised if she was pulling a hoax on 'terfs' to get one over us or prove a point.

Christinapple does not post in good faith. If someone went on a history enthusiasts' forum and confidently and persistently asserted that Mary Tudor reigned in the 1800s they would be banned for tiresome trolling.

I don't report Christinapple's posts because I think it's instructive for lurkers to witness the deliberate lies, confabulation and complete disengagement with posters patiently posting facts and participating in reasoned debate.

She will be angry about it at some point, really really angry.

My friend had a nose job when we were 20.

A few years later she said that the only reason she had any bad feelings about it was because it didn’t fix the feelings that she thought it would. I think she accepted her new reality but there was some… resentment (?) that she went through all of that for no reason. She didn’t get more male attention than she did before, no one really noticed to be honest, and she certainly didn’t feel more confident.

I wonder if we will see more of the ROGD girls detransition as they hit their mid-20s
when all of their peers start settling down and their attentions will go to other places.

I remember the times before the word gay was much used for homosexual men, even among homosexual men. And once it became common usage, it was used for men and women alike - gay men and women. (You didn’t often hear lesbian used as either an adjective or a noun). In fact queer was commonly used “he’s a bit queer” and so on. Queer has been reclaimed and reinterpreted now.

People who say “it’s always been so” have memories that only stretch back a relatively short time.

It is very unlikely that JKR will be 'milking' this person as you so weirdly put it. She has a busy life and many other interests. Unlike some.

another trans identified woman who’s been outspoken about TRAs and mass transition and of children has been calling her out, suggesting she’s enjoying the attention. Swapping one group for another. After watching this happen to another early public desisting woman who courted media attention and then re reversed ferret again and fully transitioned (with a brief stint in an ultra religious sect) I do think it’s important to allow these people space sigh point to support, and not massage egos too much

Currently on my facebook someone is telling me (retired clinical physiologist) telling me that 'a year's HRT' completely removes any advantage a 'trans woman' might have.

Why do you hate women so much Chris? Why is it so important to you that women (in the original sense of female people) should not be allowed their own sex-specific rights, spaces and protections, not even allowed the language to speak of hw being female impacts their lives for good or bad? Why is it that you will only accept trans women being respected and protected if it also takes rights, protections and language away from women?

Do I detect manipulation and exploitation from their talking on twitter. We all know Jo's views on trans people and we all know she is going to milk this person for the rest of the year to "prove" to the world that being trans is bad after all.

I’ve been following this woman for quite some time and frankly it’s like her account has been hijacked. Not convinced tbh. These people have deep-seated MH problems and this is probably just the latest chapter. If I was JKR I’d be a bit more cautious and wait longer to see how it plays out.

Not sure I truly believe her, but politely wishing her well and getting on with your day is surely the way to go? I hope nobody who believe sex is real and immutable is going after her? If she’s pretending for clicks it will backfire either way.

I've come across legaltweetz a couple of time in Twitter threads. She always struck me as incredibly angry, and taking it out on whichever GC poster she was shouting at.

I suppose that anger could have been her turning her anger at falling from the woo, turned external against anyone who pointed out the woo is just woo? Armchair psychology, I know. And it could just as easily be that she's playing games.

I think we are going to see more and more of these high profile (within the tra community) detransitioners. The house of cards is falling. All that will be left are the woman hating creeps who have been riding the coattails of the young transtitioners and the people who just want to live their lives in peace in order to gain legitimacy and sympathy. then the scales really will fall from everyone's eyes
