She announced a couple of weeks ago that she had been doing some thinking.

And immediately got savaged by TRAs.

So that might have clarified her ideas a bit.

I think tras infiltrating the GC movement are on a hiding to nothing. If they expect to find skeletons tumbling out of cupboards I think they'll be sorely disappointed. I hope she's genuine, if she is I wish her healing. If she isn't I still wish her well.

With regard to Pissed Off Lawyer’s detransition, only time will tell. I spoke to James Shupe briefly when he detransitioned. He seemed nice, but ultimately that situation had a very sad end. Similarly I talked to Amy Dyess (sorry, can’t remember current name) when she swapped sides for a while. That didn’t end well either.

I think it’s very clear that many of those who transition are deeply troubled, but I hope that Pissed Off Lawyer can find some stability and help and comes out the other side feeling better.

I also think JKR has her head screwed on and hopefully will be prepared for all eventualities.

There were two Qs for a while, which stood for Queer and Questioning. The fact that this is under so much discussion in this thread is an indication of how many nonsense changes there have been over the past 10 years.

I don't like her cavalier reference to 'not suing anyone' which I assume is a poorly veiled side swipe at the brave and heroic Keira Bell.

Hendrix looks unwell in recent pics, she looks like she has very high blood pressure which is a known side effect of Y in women, with strokes having been reported by the TIFs in the US.

Hendrix has been a huge cheerleader for medicating kids so I don't support her. I don't buy the school of thought that she deserves terfs' support because she's a female and detrans.

JKR is far more forgiving than I am.

I believe her for the simple fact that I believe that being a trans man is simply a rejection of being female - I don't believe they think they are really men. So once the delusion wears off, why not realise that you were wrong? She is just way ahead of the curve.

Someone who detransed 6 years ago advised her to get off line and keep out of all gender discussions on all sides which I think is excellent advice

my personal feeling is that feminists should be challenging the systems that allow this and the attitudes that inhibit reasoned debate, signpost to helps and support and leave individuals to find their own path.

With regards to legaltweetz detransition I hope she’s ok and gets the right support. Although going through all this completely online is dangerous for her. We should be supportive of every detransitioner because they have gone through an intense and seismic shift and ultimately they are human beings that have been damaged by the ideology we are standing against… but we should remember not everyone has the same thoughts and values that we personally do. They are not automatically going to think the same as us about trans rights and we should all be very wary of what we are saying to strangers on the internet.
