Are toilets still allowed to be cleaned by members of the opposite sex?

I see signs saying toilets may be cleaned by members of the opposite sex in a lot of places. Is this allowed after the supreme court ruling? If a male cleaner was in there it would be a mixed sex space.

Where I currently am, it’s common to close the toilets while they’re being cleaned, regardless of the sex of the cleaner. I assume it’s easier on the cleaners if they don’t have to wait around for each cubicle to be empty. It only seems to take them five minutes once they’re empty most of the time.

Which is a simple enough solution in most circumstance and would alleviate embarrassment about opposite sex cleaners.

To veer back with you; DH says he has experienced this quite often at motorway services and it is awkward and embarrassing for him if using a urinal, so imagines it must be much worse for the woman

Having googled 'male plants', I have now become aware of the curious (and contested) concept of botanical sexism, where male plants are planted preferentially in urban areas due to the reduction in flower and berry litter but this then can lead to higher levels of pollen in the area.

Having googled 'male plants', I have now become aware of the curious (and contested) concept of botanical sexism, where male plants are planted preferentially in urban areas due to the reduction in flower and berry litter but this then can lead to higher levels of pollen in the area.

I thought it was about taking goldfish into the Ladies. Now someone's going to have to do a genital check on a shark? They've really upskilled the cleaner's job.

Sorry, what? I thought half of the nation were currently terrified by trans folk in the toilet? I thought that was the entire issue? I didn’t realise it was just exclusively men, and didn’t realise how many men were just waltzing into the loos. Never seen one, personally?

@PoisedRubyLion soif we let any male use a space and it’s become mixed sex, how would that help transwomen? If they’ve going onto the ladies as they’re scared of using the men’s, surely they’d be just as vulnerable in a mixed sex space. If not, then thst kind of blows the argument for them to access women’s spaces out of the water doesn’t it? If they’re not in danger in a mixed sex space, why would they be in danger in a male space?

I’m just pointing out that the supreme court ruling was very clear. If a male is in a female space it becomes mixed sex and any person can use it. Those were the supreme courts words.
