It's an illustration of the difference between an oppressed minority majority and a stunning and brave minority isn't it!

Nudity is only illegal if it's sexually motivated, as with flashing. As a form of social protest, that's clearly not happening. But legal or not, if there's anything shocking about what they're doing, it only happens if the viewer believes that they're women. Which of course, no sensible person does.

The contrast is so marked that I'm amazed it escapes anyone.

It has to involve a form of doublethink so extreme it amounts to mental contortionism, or a wilful determination to be blind.

Every time I see how the police behave around TRA protesters, it just makes think back to how they treated the women who attended a peaceful protest after a policeman raped and murdered Sarah Everard. And makes me really, really dislike them and their obvious misogyny.

indecent exposure

That's the likely one. Real women's breasts are indecent when breast feeding in public, but not when publicly displayed in porn.

I think they were hoping to be arrested for indecent exposure as that would prove that they are women as topless men wouldn't be.

Just out of idle curiousity if actual women, ie of the biological kind, had held a demonstration which involved them being bare breasted, would they have been arrested for disturbing the peace / causing offence / scaring children / or some such?

Indeed. It is huge red flag territory to have this person involved with children who have joined activist groups on this particular topic.

I didn't see the topless part, but caught the beginning at Marble Arch, and the end, so listened to them for a couple of hours. A recurrent theme was how we want them dead. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that, or anything even close to that.

By total coincidence, I happened to be there on Sunday. Just as a simple tourist, I was in Trafalgar Square when the parade passed by and turned down Whitehall. At first I didn't realise what it was about, but then I followed them and caught up as they were waving banners at the end of Downing Street. There was a male voice shouting into a very bad amplification system, and I hardly understood a word that, uh, they were saying, so I missed any gems of wisdom that were offered. There were people with their shirts off, but I couldn't tell who was male, or female, or wishing they were. I stayed at the back and didn't join the crowd.

It was very interesting to see that there was a small counter-demonstration. A few women were holding a banner which I couldn't read from where I was standing, but it was definitely our side and not theirs. One of the women was wrapped in the green-white-purple flag. There didn't seem to be any physical hostility happening, but there was a heavy police presence. Fortunately, they had nothing to do except stand and listen (and come away entirely convinced, perhaps).

Did the officer know what was written on the sign? Or was he maliciously misled into thinking it was an LGBT supportive sign?

He literally looks like a man with moobs, which is what he is, they all look male in that video, their is nothing remotely feminine about any of them, they all just look like unattractive tubby men with unsightly moobs. Lots of guys get their moobs out this time of year so they rather blend in.

You could have a zillion transactivists stand in front of women's posters, and this would never happen.

What's that saying about laying down with dogs and getting fleas. (although to be fair, I think that's rather hard on dogs)
