No, we don't have slogans celebrating sodomy, what a weird way of looking at it for someone who lived through it. It's a small part of a stained glass window that represents a nasty chapter in our history.

But good art provokes a response so it's doing its job.

Your first sentence is fair. But I still think 25k spent on foodbanks or even a local mental health charity for gay youth would be a hell of a lot more valuable than a feckin’ window. What actually does a window in a building few of us are in or near contribute to gay rights? At the very least the money for this should have been raised separately.
