Christ. We're just talking about a bloody unisex toilet. These men need to get a fucking grip.

Fortunately the actual protesting lends itself to the argument for single sex spaces more than anything else. Who wants these violent, shouty, angry men in their spaces??

And I hope the EHCR recognises that it's really fuck all to do with toilets, and all about how dare they confirm that women shouldn't be validation tools for these men.

If it's dangerous for a transwoman to be in a male loo why is it not dangerous for men to be in women's loos?

We need to move the conversation on from ridiculous things like bathrooms and onto the things that matter. And that is the safety of trans people everywhere.

Only a man could decide quite deliberately to present as a woman, put a skirt and makeup on and grow his hair out, then whine about men's bogs being 'too dangerous' to enter. It's an entirely self-inflicted problem and I've no sympathy whatsoever for them, and I don't see why firms should beggar themselves providing 'third spaces'. If a third space really is needed, it's family toilets for parents etc.

I'm not sure if someone has paid for it or if BBH (who once were a highly reputable agency, famous for ad campaigns like Levis in the 1980s) has donated creative work hours out of the kindness of their hearts?!

Practically speaking I would guess that there is a Costa within 5 minute’s walking distance from the Suprene Court and they usually have unisex loos.

You would think that these males had never stepped foot in a men's toilet, it seems to be so traumatic for them to even contemplate such a thing. But of course they all did, in most cases for years and years, before they decided they were really women and couldn't possibly use the men's.

The question at the heart of their campaign is “where, exactly, are trans people supposed to go?”

There's an irony that the head of Translucent organised protests outside women's conferences like FILIA where Steph's mates felt emboldened to issue threats of sexual violence against women. Yet Steph thinks women should welcome these abusers into single sex spaces with women and girls.

That's where spending your time trying to silence & threaten women gets you Steph - peeing in a toilet on the steps outside the Supreme Court.

Fourth space. It's a fourth space. The accessible toilet is the third space. Funny how disabled people's rights just fade into nothingness in their campaign, isn't it?

Their problem is that they already have the answers to all these questions.

Where services are segregated by sex, use the service for your sex. If this is means you can't use the service for any reason, steps should be taken to reasonably accommodate your needs, e.g. unisex provision where possible.

Trans people have the same rights to safety, privacy and dignity as everyone else and this has not changed.
