I left the NHS over a decade ago and want to say how proud I am of Karen and of thousands of women like Karen who don’t make the world all about them and instead make the world a better, safer place for others. For every lanyard wearer there are many, many Karen’s. These women are the absolute backbone of our NHS and I am thankful for them.

On another note I’ve just seen that Mr Bates vs the post office was recognised at the BAFTAs. If there is a production company brave enough to make Sandie & Karen vs the NHS it would be a sure fire hit.

It’s so utterly offensive, vindictive and stupid. Why on earth would HE want to be in theatre assisting an operation on someone who has made a complaint about him. Anyone sensible wouldn’t want to be anywhere near involved in a case involving a patient subject to a complaint (regardless of the type or who’s at fault) lest you open yourself up for further accusations.

I mean it’s management 101 isn’t it? Persons X and Y are in legal conflict, therefore keep them apart.
