Slight derail: the Telegraph article says that Cerys is autistic. I’m curious - in my experience, there seems to be a quite binary (sorry!) split in autistic youth between those who feel like aliens in their own bodies and so are drawn to trans ideology as an explanation, and those who are extremely dismissive of trans ideology because it’s completely unscientific. I wonder what dictates which path an autistic child might go down…

I wonder if that youngster who questioned a trans PCSO and got bounced will be able to go back and say “Sir, I told you so”

A lot of people in the comments are saying she should sue them. If what the Supreme Court says is right, and it's always been illegal, then yeah bloody sue them.

Because the FA themselves don't give a flying fuck. They said the only reason they've stopped proceedings is because the complainant themselves has withdrawn.

Well let's see if we can find a few other reasons why you should've stopped.

All relevant parties have been informed of this outcome and no further action will be taken. To protect the players involved, and to respect the confidential details included, we are not in a position to publish further details about this case.”

The complainant and everyone up the food chain should be held to account.

She asked a question and was drummed out of her sport, unable to take part in the sport she loves. She has every right to be there. He didn’t. Its disgraceful that this happened to her. Look at the bloody size of him! They always seem to be ten years older too, why is that? Hmmm.

It really grates that every time a woman is questioned on this she is asked if she has sympathy for the men. When the cheating men are interviewed it's all about their feelings I've never heard one interviewer ask if they feel sorry for the women who don't want to play against men.

Bravo Cerys. Even the supportive Telegraph have asked what about the poor men 🙄

Very brave young woman - I note the concern expressed by the FA's CE about the fellas not allowed to play against women but zero concern for the harm caused to the young woman in the case or female footballers generally.

She needs an apology and we need some resignations at the FA for their evident bias against women and girls.
