That's the one I struggle with to be honest! Tryng to overcome the urge to run away from the lemon drizzle cake is sometimes just too much.

The Buffy example given is particularly stupid given that Buffy had slayer strength and agility (i.e essentially superpowers).

The episode 'Helpless' where she is deliberately injected with drugs to diminish her powers as part of a test. She is then vulnerable as she now has normal strength and agility and must use her wit and cunning instead.

Wonder Woman - a super hero with superhuman strength and speed.

Xena - one of the episodes hinted that she's the daughter of Ares, a Greek God. Also, she's fictious.

When I see these examples being used as evidence of the normal woman on the street being able to overcome men, I seriously doubt that person's critical thinking ability.

It's fascinating how many of them start 'there's been very little research into TERFs but' and then make up something preposterous - including the notion that GC people get paid to be GC? Wouldn't it be loverly.

They don't have a clue that for most of us there is no 'movement' . Just ever deepening scepticism, and sadness for the victims (I suspect many of those on Reddit are gullible young women who've been sold a destructive lie).

Definitely.....it stems from slavery in the confederate states. Likewise in South Africa during apartheid......many white people would have a black 'garden boy'...even if he was an adult with a family.
