Women don't need single sex toilets. Toilets have cubicle and if men want to attack women, there's nothing to stop them entering anyway.

Its dangerous for TW, who look more like women than most women do, to use mens toilets.

Therefore womens toilets only exist for the benefit of TW?

Interesting order of concerns. Backs up Atwood's: "Men are afraid that women [or other men] will laugh at them."

Lady Matilda Simon, 3rd Baron(ess) Wythenshaw was the first I think. But the Baron inherited before transitioning.

Always aware of what? How could they know what they felt was what being a woman feels like, as boys or men?

I think that’s the nub of the problem. For me transwomen are women (sports excepted) but not all transwomen are transwomen. This is not dependant on surgery but on motivation.

The Supreme Court has reset the law clearly - it will be tweaked going forward. I’m pleased with the outcome for women’s sports and understand why some women are worried about shared spaces like rape crisis centres and hospital wards but this wild speculation about toilets is nonsensical.

Time to start putting up posters in the gents stating something like
“transwomen have a legal right to be here. Please do not stare or do anything to make them uncomfortable. Assault is a police matter and this establishment takes threats and acts of violence towards our staff/customers very seriously. We stand with the trans community #keeptranswomensafe”

y’know, do something actually supportive rather than just posting on the socials how tragic it is women have their rights recognised.

You’ll be fascinated to learn that many “trans women” are perfectly discernible as their sex @deadpantrashcan and I’m not sure that it’s a particularly winning argument that you think many of these male people will lie to get their own way.

Ironically one of the few who seems to have easily followed what the judgement actually said - not too complicated then? But then, of course goes on to say its all completely wrong and illegal etc.

And isn't it odd how suddenly toilets ARE important after all. Just not when it was WOMEN who were subject to the urinary leash.
