Women are discouraged from taking paracetamol when pregnant. Anyone who thinks that you can feed the effluent from the secretions of drug induced male lactations to a baby is more than a few sandwiches short of a picnic. 100% child abuse.

There's been enough experimentation on children with experimental drugs and brutal surgery in pursuit of the failed "born in the wrong body" nonsense.
Nobody should be experimenting on babies with male secretions instead of female breast milk.

There is a clear troll on this thread, spouting rubbish and being as offensive to women as possible. Always a good idea not to feed trolls.

Even in what feels like dystopian times, the only people wanting to promote men breastfeeding babies are men with a fetish and the organisations that centre them
The rest of society is clear that babies are not to be used by these men for their own narcissistic purposes. Safeguarding children should be the priority - although judging by your awful response to a poster upthread, it seems safeguarding children may not be on your radar

But you agree that it is “ahead of us” so not in the here and now? So why pander to a man who is in the here and now, where it’s not possible to ‘breastfeed’ in a way that nourishes the baby? What possible benefit would that have for the baby and their mother who is actually capable of feeding the child?

@Helloworlditsmeagain I hope you’re ok. The children of trans parents and the damage done to them are so easy to ignore and pretend they don’t exist…Unless they are being wheeled out as props. I hope you have support now and some way of coping with your abuse. I think there is a group online to support children of trans parents and help each other make sense the unique and deeply damaging abuse they encountered. So, no, men in general will not all be encouraged to breastfeed their children in the near future. In case that’s in any doubt.

But they are not just attending. They are claiming to want to feed the child and are looking to this group for help in doing so.

They can attend any groups that are open to having to having trans women attend, that’s basically it

The specific matter of men irrespective of how they identify taking drugs to attempt to breast feed a baby. If it’s such a good idea and centres the well-being of the child why are we not encouraging all men to do it?

So no one knows but until we do know it’s perfectly fine for transwomen to attempt to breastfeed a baby and take up space within support groups when they cannot (and will not be able to) successfully produce enough secretion in volume never mind of quality to nourish the baby.

Babies (and women) are not emotional support animals for transwomen

It is a single sex group. It was advertised specifically for mothers. That makes it single sex.

Depending on the medical situation of the trans woman, in this milk there might be: testosterone, testosterone blocking drugs, synthetic oestrogen (I have no idea whether the levels are similar to those of a post-partum woman or higher), in addition to the drugs used to induce lactation.

Differently from what said by one poster somewhere in the thread, substances in our blood will pass into the milk. If you look into the medicines you have at home, many will say ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are breastfeeding.
