Typical Guardian (and I am a long term fierce lefty ). Yesterday they appeared to tuck the FA story away within the football section on the website. I had to hunt for it.

Today, one of their top stories is how LGBT+ people are in crisis after the ruling.

Why are the LGB and, probably, most of the Q+ in crisis? Did they really need the fragrant Tiffany tearing down the wing and destroying the opposition?

Eta. You think the G and some of the Q+ would be thrilled to give him a game. Crisis averted!

Sharron has been an absolute warrior for all women who want to partake in sports and has faced a barrage of disgusting tweets and threats towards herself and her family from the "maligned" TRAs. We are so lucky to have her.

Yes. I sent her a thank you message through her website when the ruling came out.

No idea if she gets them but it made me feel better. Even if it's just the scenario I imagine for JKR of an assistant saying 'you've had 235 thank you from women this week ' it must provide reassurance that they are indeed the same ones in this madness.

How many women playing in that team at the same level do you think are late fifties?

I listened to this and was genuinely surprised by how biased Kate was (I normally rate her too). She spoke far more than an interviewer should, told Sharron off for stating completely truths and kept banging on at things from the angle of the poor men being upset/left out.

Sharron started to sound like she might lose her sh1t a bit and who can blame her!

The whole situation is ludicrous,.it should never have got to this point and as Sharron pointed out it is STILL being framed as a men's/trans rights issue.

Because from what I can see its all about the feelz that stops transwomen from playing in men's teams.

Gay men have been playing on men's teams for years.

She was just on Times radio with Late Orsay ( who I normally rate), Kate started asking what about in the amateur game trans women that she knows have been playing with no issues, Sharon responded, for them maybe not but what about the women who have been made to play alongside or against a man. She was on fire but Kate still
wouldnt have it and said it’s not fair on trans women to now have to play with men, Sharon asked well
what about all the women who have had to play with men all these years!
