Although it's in other threads, here is this other Dawn Butler gem, again just in case any of you missed it:

DB said the other day on telly that she has a butch lesbian friend who gets hounded out of women's toilets and DB and her friends have to actually accompany this poor women to the toilets to protect her!

Sadly, the interviewer didn't ask - 'And is this butch lesbian friend in the room with us now?'

Butch lesbians and 6 foot bearded transmen are this year's Spring/Summer must-have accessories, apparently.

I'm concerned, because I don't think there are enough of them to go around all the politicians and celebrities who want them as friends so they can talk in quivering voices about their suffering at the hands of aggressive straight women in toilets and transphobes at the UK Supreme Court.😒

Scientists have shown that clownfish become actual nurse clownfish at will. Therefore, humans become actual nurse humans at will too. They don’t even need a certificate. It’s just science. Why argue with science?

I haven't. I've called her JKR. I wouldn't call her Joanne or Jo as (I am very old) to me that would imply that I know her personally, which I don't. If I wanted to refer to her a bit more formally, I'd say J. K. Rowling, I suppose.

Lest we forget, five years ago Dawn Butler went on Good Morning Britain and this claims to be a transcript of what happened:

Presenter Richard Madeley accused the Labour Party of shutting down debate about sex and gender, after two leadership candidates backed calls to expel from the party anyone who questions transgender ideology.
Miss Butler was also asked if people are ‘transphobic’ if they believe there is a biological difference between men who say they are women even if they have not had surgery, and true females.
She said: “What we can’t have is transphobia, we can’t have people who are transphobic.”
She added: “If you’re saying that a trans woman isn’t a woman, then there are issues around that. Talking about penises and vaginas doesn’t help the conversation because then you’re saying that a trans woman isn’t a woman.”
Biological differences
When Madeley asked: “When a child is born, they are identified and observed in a particular sex aren’t they?”, Butler interjected: “A child is born without sex, a child is formed without sex in the beginning”.
She concluded by stating the trans activist slogan, “Trans women are women. Trans men are men”, and suggested that those who don’t agree are making trans people unsafe and contributing to hate crime.

UPDATE – In a later interview with homosexual news website Pink News Butler sought to clarify her remarks.
She said: “The thing is, when you are born, you’re told by the doctor, ‘Congratulations, it’s a boy’ or ‘Congratulations, it’s a girl.’ But I was trying to make the point to him that, you know, it’s also not a given. There’s lots of people that identify as non binary.”

Lots of people nurse children, or elderly people. Why shouldn't they call themselves Nurses? This is all so exclusive. And it isn't possible to define "nurse". Or if it is, we don't need to worry about about context, do we? Transnurses are nurses. Or something.
