In the words of the bloke at the Edinburgh Protest "give us wombs and give us titties". I'm surprised they didn't put womb transplants on that list.

• Extension of available gender affirming treatments available on the NHS, including but not limited to:
• Breast augmentation where HRT doesn’t provide sufficient growth.
• 200 hours of electrolysis
• Facial surgery where desired
• Any gender non-conforming surgeries

This covers treatments for blokes, with a wee cover-all thrown on at the end

That's quite the list, and would be quite the taxpayers' bill.
It does read as something from the mind of a spoiled stroppy teen.
'My Big List of Demands: absolute total final draft. So there.'

I liked:

• The rights of binary trans men and trans women and non-binary people to use all ‘single sex spaces’ that align with our experienced sex or gender, or that we feel most comfortable in.

In other words, absolutely any space that I want to, which completely negates 'single setx spaces' and renders them meaningless.

• The right for transgender prisoners to be housed in accordance with their lived, experienced sex or gender, limited only where the offender is known to be violent or a violent sex offender, where the establishment of specific third spaces should be used.

There is some mad stuff on the list but this position is not as mad as Lisa Nandy's ideas on the subject and she is a government minister

This is the work of incredibly spoilt children surely? My 14 year old has had an epic, toddler tanty tonight because we wouldn’t meet her ridiculous demands (a school night sleepover 😂 asked at 8pm) and even while she is loudly sobbing outside the door of every room we happen to be in, she knows not to continue escalating the demand list and to just try again another day with a different tactic.

I could get on board with the 200 hours of electrolysis and Turkey tits though.

I'm fully in support of 200 hours of electrolysis. Provided I, as a hairy woman with PCOS can also have it.
Currently it's available in some areas to TW, but not women.

Actually, I think you're all gravely misunderestimating the power and persuasion of this letter. I, for one, am very much hoping it isn't shared too widely, because there's a very real risk it could undermine everything we've been fighting for.

Please, whatever you do, don't let it be circulated any further than it's already gone. And for God'sake don't let The Good Law project get hold of it. Or X. Or anyone with a.large platform.

This reminds me of Freddy McConnell's legal action for the right to be registered as the father of the baby to whom Freddy gave birth. The birth certificate is about and for the baby, not you.
