I think that anyone with pictures of this kind of placard, whenever they were taken, should go to the police local to where it happened, make a complaint, and copy it both to the police minister and the shadow police minister. That way, HM opposition can do their job of holding the government to account to hold the police to account, to get this type of behaviour dealt with. Maybe this will also help address the ‘both sides’ narrative.

From my time as a Civil Servant, if I'd given misinformation to a government Minister and as a result they'd been caught out on air not telling the truth, I can't imagine the bollocking I'd have got.

I wonder if the Policing Minister will be following this up in a similar way.

If she thought the images were old, surely she could easily confirm what investigation was done at the time and provide the outcome...

The lack of due diligence by the Met & the minister is quite something to behold. Although given the Met's involvement & funding given to extreme transactivists and anti women organisations, their minimising of threats against women isn't a surprise.
