Absolutely agree, that's one of my current favourites.

I was surprised how firmly in support The Two Matts were, I know MD'A has always been pretty GC but they have a very left liberal Remainy audience. He also followed it up with an excellent written piece.

Another thing I noticed is that they were guests this week on "Oh God What Now", the former Remainiacs podcasts - I'd be surprised if they were invited back, as the OGWN lot have gone completely off the deep end because of, well let's just call it the Helen Joyce issue.

A very small so far but really good listen every week is Informed Dissent, US podcast with a few people many will be familiar with - Lisa Selin Davis, Ben Appell, Cory Cohn, Eliza Mondegreen and Jamie Reed.

I usually subscribe to The Rest Is Politics and have been a regular listener for years but having heard their response to the SC ruling I’m now questioning whether I can respect anything they say about anything ever again. I’m no longer subscribing.
Main takeaways:
Misogyny on full show - particularly by Alistair Campbell- he seems disgusted that women drink (champagne) and smoke (cigars). He called a women “mean” for referring to a biological male with male pronouns. I feel like he wanted to use an even more misogynistic term as he seemed particular piqued by women celebrating the result. Alistair also slagged off “women journalists”. He really is a nasty man.
No research - their reactions are informed by anecdotal personal experience. Rory’s friend dispenses puberty blockers. Alistair’s friend has a trans child that he has been on holiday with. His daughter and their mates don’t like the judgments . I’m not even making this up - this is what they referred to themselves and how they defended their views.
No representation - two white men talking about how the SC decision affects other men.

These two men have shown us who they really are.

TRIP completely missing the point again today with focusing solely on toilets. I think AC refering to Jameela Jamal’s take on the issue as insightful is a new low.

Dr Az Hakeem. He's brilliant. He's written a couple of books and has lots of videos on YouTube.

There was one recommended by a male Dr (initially A maybe?) with a mental health background and decades of experience. Looked to give an insight into the thought processes of the TRAs.... I was going to listen later but I've lost it. Does anyone know what I'm on about please? Thought it was on this thread but I'm mistaken.

I absolutely love the This Isn't Working podcast. Its so important that these conversations are being had through a normie lens and its the podcast I share the most with people unaware of the broader impact of this issue.

Not sure Helen can have had any sleep in the last week she has done so many interviews. She is really amazing. She’s so good at explaining things.

Apologies if already answered but does anyone know any good articles that describe the last few years of madness and the issues with the trans movement and implications for women and girls? Just want a couple of things to share with family who “haven’t thought about it much” and are still in the live and let live mindset…talking to my mum
today and when I mentioned that girls like my DD shouldn’t have to play sport against boys/ all the girls who have lost out on scholarships etc and she was saying yes I agree that’s wrong….just needs a push for the scales to drop haha

I subscribed to the Lesley Riddoch podcast at a time when I thought independence was the answer. I since realised that the Scottish Government couldn’t run a bath, never mind a country.

She has always been hopeless on this ‘culture war’ , ‘overblown’ ‘just let folks live in peace’ . Last podcast she claimed she was almost a candidate as an MSP for the Greens until they discovered she was on the wrong side of the GRR among BBC with Andy Wightman! Andy was a Green MSP fired for attending a FWS meeting in Edinburgh.
she did say she’ll cover the judgement next week- that will be an interesting reverse ferret!
