Is anyone else surprised that so-called feminists still think that TWAW?

I’ve only had 3 people (all women) post TWAW posts - all expected. All three of them disregarded that this was actually about women, removed references to women and reframed it entirely about trans women (not even trans people on the whole).

But it was this one other repost from one of the women (a childhood friend) that bothered me the most (image attached).

If you want to do something about femicide, you need to be able to recognise it. Femicide only affects biological women - not men in any way, shape or form. But if we don’t have a clear definition of ‘women’ to mean biological women then femicide can’t even exist. It’s so obvious yet these fucking idiots post this crap (and note how really the framing at the end has fuck all the do with women really and refocuses back on ‘vulnerable’ group (the trans). This post quite literally uses women’s issues as a means to elevate trans people (exactly what they accuse this mysterious other group of doing).

It’s just so bloody stupid. All that’s happened is what the definition of women likely meant 15 years ago has been clarified (and of course it bloody meant biological sex 15 years ago. How could the legislators have meant anything else?) and these idiots have lost their collective minds fawning over these men.

Give us some data on sexual violence and murder of trans people compared to women.

I wonder how many of these "knowledgeable posters" have ever even spoken to a trans person in depth or got to know them to try and better understand their experience instead of just reading about them in the Daily Mail.

Both women and trans women are so so so much more likely to be victims of horrific men (trans women proportionally higher)

I care less about toilets than I do about prisons.

Do you think that trans women should be sent to a women's prison? If they have been convicted of rape or violence against women? If they still have physically intact male genitalia?

Should trans men go to a men's prison? What if the trans man still has intact female genitalia?

Once you've dealt with prisons, please can you answer the same questions re domestic violence refuges, rape crisis services, sports and changing rooms?

Trans people are 0.5% so regardless of how you spin the statistics women are far more likely to be raped by cis men and if men are pretending to be trans women to get to women then that's a cis man problem, not a trans women problem.

Can you please provide examples of the physical attacks? I certainly hope no one is physically assaulting transwomen as a result of this ruling. Have you heard of anything? If yes, please share as I hope the police can be called.

Absolutely not true. You need to bring your understanding up to speed with facts.

There is no evidence that trans women offend at a lower rate than other men, and there is in fact evidence to the contrary. The stats suggest that trans identified males in prison are MORE likely to have been convicted of sex offences than non-trans identified men.

Women are demonstrably NOT at lower risk from transwomen than other men. And let’s not forget that trans identified males pushing boundaries by entering women’s single sex spaces makes it easier for other men to also access those spaces.

If transwomen are at more risk in male spaces (which is moot), then that is a problem for men to solve, not women.

Are you in America? There are very few people in the uk who are trying to take away gay rights. And no-one on this board is. A number of gay rights organisations gave evidence that the definition of woman is important in uk law because lesbians in particular were in danger of not being able to exclude men from their events & dating apps, etc. The Supreme Court judgement specifically addressed this issue.

For one it means constantly being attacked verbally and physically when they're just trying to go about their business. No doubt things will get worse now people are emboldened by this ruling.

I didn't vote for nor do I support Trump. I agree with him on the gender issue: men cannot become women and they need to stay out of women's spaces and sports and that gender affirming care is child abuse.

I agree they are vulnerable, especially to terrible long-term health problems as a result of putting a load of drugs in their bodies that shouldn’t be there.

Do you not realise that some of the most vocal and active GC women are lesbians?
These are women who object to being called transphobic because they... shock horror...don't want to be in a lesbian only space or a relationship with a biological male. 95% of TW still have a penis, yet lesbians are being called transphobic because they won't accept that the penis owner is a woman.
