Yes it's wrong, she's not being rejected because of gender reassignment, she's being rejected because of sex.

That's the whole point of single sex provision. You're allowed to discriminate on the basis of sex, under certain circumstances. And single sex schools is one of them.

If they took girls, but not her, because she identified as trans, then that would be correct, but it's not the reason. They don't take any girls

I don't see how that would work as the comparator would be someone of the same sex without the protected characteristic.

An all boys school would deny both on the basis of their sex. That one has the gender identity of a boy makes no difference.

But I'm not a specialist education lawyer (or any sort of lawyer)

He can’t speak on the issue. If he says he’s pleased for women he looks like a backsliding fool; if he says he’s worried for pretendy women he just looks like a fool, full stop.

One thing you can say for India Willoughby and the rest of the trans mob is that at least they’re consistently stupid and objectionable on the subject.

I do not much like Badenoch for lots of things she says BUT i am certain that on the subject of gender she is sincere and passionate and not choosing a side for political gain. And for that i applaud her.
