Its thank you from me too. I only discovered MN and this board about 9 months ago. Although I have long had GC views I was isolated in them partly as I had a v woke employer. FWR was a revelation in more ways than one!

Another voice to add to the chorus of thanks. It must have been incredibly challenging at times, trying to walk the line but MN has created a space where women could rally and discuss and stand together. Those who dismiss us as Mummies chatting about nappies need to think again. Those who try invade our spaces and take our words need to stop. We are women and we won't back down.

Well the amazing women who set up For Women Scotland and who have achieved this fantastic result today met on Mumsnet and rallied themselves and others for the fight. Just ordinary women who couldn't believe what the Scottish government were doing. In fighting something that in reality should never have been in question has now meant everyone's rights are equal. Which is a good thing.

Yes, thanks MN. I'm still sore over the number of times I've had posts removed for no apparent reason over the last 12 years, a couple of them comparatively recently. The TRAs watched us closely. Now the Supreme Court has spoken I can say Transwomen Are Men without fear of being modded, I hope.

Perhaps now is the time to reveal that I've been banned twice and found a way back to continue the fight each time.

I remember seeing a T-shirt which said, “Radicalised by Mumsnet” and it made me so happy to be a small part of it. I echo the thanks - Mumsnet and the mods have stood firm in the face of some strong opposition.

Agree. Thank you MNHQ. This is where I washed up when I wanted to know what the hell was happening with rapists like Isla Bryson and violent sex offender Tiffany Scott being sent to women's prisons. I was shocked that my usual news sites like the Guardian and the BBC hadn't even raised it as an issue. I was so naive.

Five years ago I came here (different account, different name, I lost the ability to access my original one due to an IT glitch a few months ago) for an unrelated reason and was surprised and delighted to find a big cluster of women openly saying, "We're being force-fed a pack of lies about a fundamental aspect of reality and we're not going to stand for it," and being allowed to get on with it subject to a degree of moderation which appears to have loosened up over time. It wasn't just me after all! I have learned so much. I don't have a useful voice of my own but I've been signposted to those who do and shown how best to support them.

A brave corporate decision, and a right one.

Hear hear! Have learned so much from the women in this space who have been allowed to unapologetically talk, discuss, debate, highlight and support. It’s given me the words, logic and facts that have helped me to articulate my own position.

I agree! I was kicked out of US groups in early 2020 and came to MN...what a breath of fresh air! You've helped women across the pond with arguments, stamina and the general sense we were not alone.
