Ahhh... 'Once more with feeling!'

The greatest musical episode in a long running series ever made IMO. Anya really didn't like rabbits.

Reading all the bunny posts has now earwormed me with the "Bunnies! Bunnies! It must be Bunnies!" bit from the musical episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Which is nearly 25 years old (having looked it up). I have got some weird shit lurking in the recesses of my brain.

On the plus side, my timeline is now full of adorable bunny pics - and I think the charity has had a surge of donations on the back of this.

Juno (PearFucker) sounds like a complete delight.

Why would anyone take advice from someone who calls themself 'PearFucker'?

Though I did know someone whose pet rabbit, Gerry, escaped from his pen and returned some time later in an interesting condition, leading to his being referred to ever after as 'Gerry the sex-change rabbit'. Which just goes to show we hadn't heard of gender back in the 1980s.

I'd have thought that understanding about sex was pretty vital for a rabbit owner.

No, that's not some sort of code or euphemism. A rabbit rescue charity is being attacked on TwiX for not vetting every single one of their 7000-odd followers for signs of TERFism.

By Volker Schlöndorff, who did The Tin Drum, which I liked too. It had a great cast, Faye Dunaway was Serena, and Robert Duvall the Commander.

I didn't know there was a Handmaid's Tale film. I'll have to look it out, but it certainly looks as if that reviewer had no idea what it was about.

Bad attitude from them, but poor design by Asda. A seat or two just outside the changing room area is good, just having one inside is liable to result in blokes encroaching.

Smart shops often used to have a sort of holding pen where you could leave your husband/boyfriend, with sofas and sometimes even a telly, while you tried on stuff in the changing room.

That's very poor from him and his wife (?).

10 or 15 years ago men simply wouldn't have hung about in women's changing rooms, they'd have known very well their presence was inappropriate and would have waited outside on the shop floor.

I went shopping with teen DD. She wanted to try bras on in Asda Living. It has women's clothing downstairs and mens and childrens clothing are upstairs. Although the downstairs fitting room isn't marked women only, it's fair to assume it's for women, especially as it's right next to the lingerie section.

It's got doors on the cubicles but with gaps top and bottom and a sort of lobby area in the middle where you can look at things in a big mirror.

When we went in, a man was sitting on a stool in the lobby part. DD said to me "is this the ladies fitting room?" and I said yes and looked at the man who ignored us. DD said "I don't want to try bras on with him in here." At that point, a cubicle opened and a lady stuck her head out and said "oh he's with me and he's harmless." I said "my daughter feels uncomfortable trying on underwear with a man in the fitting room." The lady told us not to be so stupid and shut the door and the man remained there.

We tried to find a staff member but there was nobody on the shop floor, so we just abandoned purchasing the bras as she didn't feel comfortable with him being there.

Why do men think it's ok to infringe on our spaces and make us feel uncomfortable like that? There's no reason why he needed to be in the fitting room. He could have waited outside on the shop floor.

I was just thinking about The Handmaid's Tale, and reflecting, as I have done before, that the cinema film never got very good reviews. I saw it at the cinema when it came out, and thought it a very decent stab at the book, which I had read shortly before. So I looked it up on imdb; sure enough, a very modest rating of 6.0. So I thought to read a review or two. Starting with Roger Ebert, who I always had a lot of time for as a film critic. Reading his review now is a bit jaw-dropping. He just doesn't seem to 'get' the film, or the book. See what you think. Has anyone re-watched it recently?
