I've become more happy describing myself as a person.

This is a product of thinking it's inferior or limiting to be a woman. In my opinion that's where she's got it from

i don’t see this as being unusual, surely it is normal childhood? All of my children, of both sexes, enjoy these activities.

I spent half my childhood either playing with dolls or nicking my brothers BMX. It’s called being a child
