Elon Musk's trans daughter outs him for sex-selective IVF ie he wants sons

Some of the wording in the article are not exactly FWR, but am posting more because (and it may not be true) the 15 (?) children he now has are because women have willing acting as "hosts" for IVF created babies. (Not surprised he would only want sons.)

In a post on Threads on Monday, Wilson — who is estranged from her father and frequently calls him out on social media — accused Musk of viewing her as “going against the product that was sold” when she came out as trans.

“My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for. So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was sold. That expectation of masculinity that I had to rebel against all my life was a monetary transaction. A monetary transaction. A MONETARY TRANSACTION.”

Musk has made headlines over the years for his controversial approach to fatherhood, including his decision to have 14 children in large part because he is concerned with population decline, according to Walter Isaacson’s biography Elon Musk.

Now, Wilson is suggesting that Musk is focused on having boys through IVF. Out of his 14 children, he only has two cisgender daughters and one trans daughter, the rest are boys.

“How the f—k is this legal,” Wilson commented on her own post.

I said the article wasn't inline with FWR language and was making a totally different point.

The issue is about IVF and sex selection.

Which is family situations is bad enough but if made available to to multimillionare who can (possibily) pay any number of women to have his male children is something else entirely.

It is possible to have a discussion on FWR without just intoning the forum base line.

She’s disturbed, you don’t have to believe everything she says simply because you don’t like Musk.

IwantToRetire · 13/03/2025 01:01

Elon Musk refers to his political opponents as “NPCs.”

This term comes from the gaming world and refers to a nonplayer character that follows a scripted path and cannot think or act on its own, and is there only to populate the world of the game for the actual players. Amanda Marcotte of Salon notes that Musk calls anyone with whom he disagrees an NPC, but that construction comes from the larger environment of the online right wing, whose members refer to anyone who opposes Donald Trump’s agenda as an NPC.

The point of the right wing’s dehumanization of political opponents is to dismiss the pain they are inflicting. If the majority of Americans are not really human, toying with their lives isn’t important—maybe it’s even LOL funny to pretend to take a chainsaw to the programs on which people depend. “We are ants, or even less,” Waldman writes, “bits of programming to be moved around at Elon’s whim. Only he and the people who aspire to be like him are actors, decision-makers, molding the world to conform to their bold interplanetary vision.”

Not wanting to derail my own thread, but given Musks public behaviour and how is acting out as Trump's henchman, would indicate that he certainly has values that no many other than Trump has, or potentially has no values at all. Other than self.

You mean, is it possible to have a discussion on FWR without people insisting on accurate language?

Oh for heavens sake.

The whole point was to quote what someone had said because it illustrates the issue.

It would have lost the point being made to impose the FWR correct language.

Honestly.

What is the point of attempt to discuss something if each time it is just reduced down to marks out of ten, for how FWR linguistically it is.

I have no idea if this story is true. I made it clear in the OP.

But the idea that an ultra male is then so negative towards a son because they are not "traditionally" male is one that has often come up. ie the whole better to be a TW than a feminine boy.

And yes, the impact of a domineering father may have led to exaggeration.

Which was why as I said, it would seem incredible that so many women would comply with this. Or maybe they got loads of money.

I cant imagine how any woman would be physically attracted to Musk, but if it wasn't about money, what could any woman see in him.

Gosh I didn’t know that. How awful about his little boy 😢

I wonder what his son thinks about surrogacy? Something tells me he’s all for it!

Elon uses women's bodies for surrogates. Even with the IVF biological children of the mothers/wives.

What is your basis for saying he is not sane or rational? Because you don’t agree with him? There is nothing irrational about having 14 children or choosing male offspring. Indeed in this increasingly misogynistic world it is very rational to want male offspring. And if you have the money it is also rational to have a lot of children and to have them with a number of women who you keep at arms length from your fortune. I may disagree with this but it doesn’t make his actions irrational.

The fact that he's a habitual drug user who needs an emotional support child and has a strained relationship with the mothers of his mostly IVF, children. Those are pretty big red flags in his present.

His past is an unfortunate parade of red flags. Musk, by dint of his upbringing, wealth, power and possible ND is a toxic male.

He is not a mentally healthy man.

AshKeys · 12/03/2025 23:26

TooBigForMyBoots · 12/03/2025 22:55

Musk is not a sane or rational man. It is no surprise to me that he sex selected embryos to be male. Nor is it a surprise to me that one of his children has chosen this route of rebellion and challenge.

I'm glad Wilson has spoken out and shone sunlight on the fucked up wanker, Elon Musk.
👏👏👏

Well, for people who say he's a wanker, the fact that all of his children are the product of IVF tends to support that.

It took me an embarrassingly long while clock this 😂

Having 14 children is pretty small beer if you are determined to spread your DNA. There are many much bigger families across the US. And once you start looking at sperm donors there any many men who have hundreds of offspring.

As for why one of his sons growing up amongst the liberal elite in America, surrounded by gender ideology and the idea that trans people are to be lauded, would decide to become trans? Perhaps the real question is why only one has fallen for this?

I do wonder how many he's going to end up with though. It's only been fairly recently that he's upped his farming of women to multiple hosts at the same time.

Why do we think Elon Musk, who believes so much in his superiority and preference for males that he had selective IVF, had a son who transitioned?

Could it possibly be that Musk is somewhat sexist and had somewhat entrenched and sexist views on gender conformity and that his son felt he couldn't live up to these expectations and so decided he wasn't male after all?

I mean it's not like there's a pattern of males from ultra masculine professions (such as in the military) having a higher rate of transition than others, is it?

It not like internalised misogyny and homophobia is known to be a factor in transition is it?

I mean there's no trauma in being the eldest son, and then finding your father going all out to be the next Ghengis Khan with his DNA and feeling a certain amount of inadequacy because Daddy keeps churning them out because he's not found the 'perfect' one to satisfy his desire for an heir in his own image now is it?

I mean he's not a woman, but fuck me, it's not hard to work out why he might be a little screwed up by his father and his father's attitude to women.

The irony is, he sounds like a right chip off the ole block doesn't he?!

I disagree with sex selection, though it is legal in many countries. It has lead to millions of girls ‘missing’ from populations in many countries and this has had a negative impact on women in those countries.

Yep. It unbalances the population.

One of the problems China has is huge numbers of men unable to find a partner. This has led to a significant amount of human trafficking of women to secure a bride from abroad, in order for a family to maintain their bloodline.

AshKeys · 12/03/2025 21:42

MakkaPakkasCave · 12/03/2025 21:23

None of those studies showed the issue was IVF rather than pre-existing issues that led to the need for IVF - something that would be absent if IVF was only done for sex-selection purposes. But Musk has off-set any increased risk by having 14 children (so far).

Natural selection would have taken care of his bloodline had it not been for the size of his wallet.

What a disgusting thing to say about bereaved parents.

TheUnusuallyQuerulentMxLauraBrown · 12/03/2025 21:23

I’m conflicted. I don’t support sex selective IVF and certainly wouldn’t want it for myself but it’s better to only implant boy embryos than abandon or murder baby girls or coerce women into sex selective abortions.

it is fascinating that humans naturally produce more or less 50/50 M/F offspring as long as we don’t meddle with it!

Whilst sex selection is not common, most people who have babies after loss are to some extent ‘replacing the dead sibling’. But it is not about a direct replacement; the parents wanted a family, they have lost a child but the desire for a family is still there so naturally parents will seek to recapture that.

I can definitely sympathise with bereaved parents making decisions influenced by loss (5 baby boys in quick succession seems a bit excessive to me but Justine Musk carried those pregnancies herself and they could certainly afford to raise multiples/hire nannies)

Lanifers · 12/03/2025 21:15

RawBloomers · 12/03/2025 21:13

Elon Musk's exploitative use of women to bear his children is pretty vile and adds weight to claims he is misogynistic, though I think there's plenty more fuel for that fire too.

I find sex selection ill advised but think it is better tackled by ensuring girls and boys hold equal value in society than by stopping people from being able to have their preference. I would rather no girl was brought up by a father (or mother) who didn't want her (and ditto for a boy), than have the state get involved in barring forms of sex selection.

Whether Musk has engaged in sex selection isn't clear though. Wilson has an obvious agenda and has offered no proof that Musk has pushed for this with the children he's fathered.

TheUnusuallyQuerulentMxLauraBrown · 12/03/2025 21:10

2010 article written by Justine Musk - Elon deffo isn’t depicted sympathetically but Justine appears to be the instigator of the IVF.

Obvs the post divorce babies aren’t anything to do with Justine (but they aren’t ALL boys).

Amber Heard’s IVF/surrogacy babies are rumoured to be Elon’s too. IIRC they are both girls and not counted in his official total as he didn’t consent to the embryos being thawed, she had to go to court to use them.

I was under the impression that Musk’s five IVF sons with his first wife were a maladaptive response to the loss of their first (naturally conceived) baby boy to SIDS?

And that those two (twin and triplet) IVF pregnancies were instigated by the mother?

Obvs being sex selected as a zygote to replace the dead brother you never met is likely to fuck you up in all sorts of ways (eg rebelling by claiming to be a woman) but I don’t thInk it’s fair to assume that the sex selection was due to misogyny rather than
grief.

Off to dig out a link…

It's true that you can choose the sex of IVF offspring, with a very high accuracy rate indeed, in many countries.

I'll leave it others to comment on what this [sex being determined within seconds of fertilisation] implies for the TRAs' old favourite line that everyone starts off female etc etc etc.

Edited

Indeed. How does he think his father manage to select the sex of the embryos? Especially if sex is only assigned at birth?
