The vile scumbag has been convicted of rape as well as three murders and the police spokesman being interviewed said that this level of violence against women is 'unprecedented'!!!!
How is it unprecedented. It's practically endemic.

The lengths he went to to make sure there was no man in the house when he did it. I don't know why those details leap out to me. He was so heavily armed I can't imagine he could have been stopped.

A sick coward who only wanted to terrify, torture and murder women. May he rot in hell.

I thought that - either he was scared of a man coming home (cowardly scum) or he just wanted to hurt women (evil scum) or both 😡

KrankyKumquat · 07/03/2025 13:46

@sandgreen
Yes and I know what people mean about this not being a unique crime but some aspects of it really stick with me - the hanging about lying-in-wait in the house for the next victim to arrive particularly and the thought of what each went through in the moments of realisation before he killed them. Bloody horrifying.

Talking about it with male colleagues
Colleague : she was very attractive and intelligent what was she doing with someone like him, why did she stay....?
Me: She didn't!!! And this is what happened! 🤬

FFS why the victim blaming

What did they say that made you think they were blaming her for her own murder?

The fact the news are all referring to him as "jilted ex" making out it's HER fault for not wanting to be with him.

call him what he is. RAPIST. MURDERER. MISOGYNIST. SCUM.

i feel the only reason it's being looked at in that way rather than the traditional line of thinking you mentioned, is that he targeted her mum and sister also. Otherwise it would be dismissed more.

Sadly you're probably right 😞 I've read a report somewhere that he "correctly assumed" they advised Louise to dump him - which is getting into excuses again 😞

wording is important.

Jilt: (Verb) suddenly reject or abandon (a lover).

His actions were his actions - and using terms such as Jilted Ex err dangerously close to 'excusing' the actions. "Well, he wouldn't have done it if she hadn't broken up with him" etc.

Yes it does highlight he is pathetic, but why use JILTED EX when RAPIST MURDERER was a far better way to describe him.

To highlight how deranged he was to murder simply because he was jilted.

ZeldaFighter · 07/03/2025 13:28

To offer another perspective, I was quite shocked at the report on the BBC 10 o clock news. The reporter concluded with remarks on "misogynistic violence " and sited the crime as evidence of epidemic level violence against women and girls.

I was so surprised to hear it as previously the report had featured the end of the relationship so it had seemed the traditional "oh dear just one of those relationship things" then boom - evidence of misogynistic violence!

Hopefully this cuts through!

I saw the articles before and it does seem at least some have thankfully, removed the words now after a lot of calling out it seems.

I wouldn’t say this of many people but I’m glad he’s paralysed. He’ll have an awful time in prison and he won’t be able to run away - just like his victims couldn’t.

May the remainder of his days be full of the suffering he deserves.

Of course they are referring to him like that. He's a person with a pee-pee. They can do no wrong. Wish I had one.

Sorry everybody I don't really. Just in a bad place atm. And, wouldn't you know it, it's because of a person with a ...

LetMeGoogleThat · 07/03/2025 12:37

How was it unprecedented? Jess Phillips stood up yesterday and listed 95 women killed by men in the past year in the UK.

Carol, Hannah and Louise were just 3 of those names.

It does show the staggering level of entitlement of many men when two men in the same family have murdered 5 people - three because a woman decided she didn't want to be in a relationship any more and two for damaging a car wing mirror.

The levels of entitlement and arrogance and hatred in that pair of siblings is quite something.

And yet they are not unique. Frightening.

His brother is also in prison for murder. Something went badly wrong somewhere that both had so little value in human life and such a strong sense of entitlement that they felt they could take another life away.

I don't think it's even as uncommon as needing something 'badly wrong'.

Another 3 women brutally slaughtered by another hater of women.

Also this level of violence is only "unprecedented" if they've never spoken to a woman before. We ALL have had encounters or know someone who has.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 07/03/2025 09:02

Same, sad as it may be. I've thought this since the case of Gisele Pelicot. Each and every one of them a potential raping murderer.

Definitely. It's horrible. You don't want to see them like this but they MAKE you do so. And it just adds to our horrifying life when out at night and the fact that we don't want to come into contact with them.

Apparently he's now paralysed from the chest down from his suicide attempt. I hope he lives a long life full of pain and anguish.

He'll be on suicide watch , I expect.
Three women...three more women murdered by yet another bitter twisted man.
