Andrew Tate and brother leave Romania for US after travel ban lifted

My first question would be did they file their taxes?
Because Uncle Sam expects to US citizens to file and pay and any (ill) gotten gains.

Absolutely shocking that these two disgusting humans are free. The world is a worse place with them in it.

Big powerful countries like the USA, Russia and China often throw their weight around with other less powerful nations as a way of making sure those nations treat the citizens of the bigger countries well when they travel.

The Tates are thoroughly repellent men but they are also US citizens (because of one of their parents), so the current "America First" style government is going to help them as a way of making sure all US citizens abroad are not mistreated.

However, I hope that the US government will be a responsible global citizen and also ensure that the Tates are retuned to Romania to face trial and any further charges.

I wonder what sort of financial pressure Trump's gang have put on Romania? Last week, they told him to wind his neck in.

They absolutely will not return to Romania voluntarily.

This will be a big, big test for de Santis, who has butted heads with Trump, in the past. I asked on Twitter if they have the capacity try people who have been accused of crimes abroad.

I hope so, because America has serious prison terms for cases like this.

And from what I understand they can pull the US passport at Federal level once they land back into the US (some kind of 14th amendment right) but can not deny entry.

But Ill bet Romanian would be happy to have issue an arrest warrent and hold a trial without them or just leave it hanging over them.

Unless they can make a good case that this was some kind of human rights issue, then I think they've been flown home as a reward for being loyal. Trump seems to value this above all else, even if they're alleged traffickers it seems.

Another part of me is concerned that Trump wants someone like this on-side as he doesn't plan to leave the oval office as easily as he did last time, and even that time was dramatic. It comes across like he wants henchmen to intimidate the other side.

Early this morning, I directed my office to work with our state law enforcement partners to conduct a preliminary inquiry into these individuals.

Florida has zero tolerance for human trafficking and violence against women. If any of these alleged crimes trigger Florida jurisdiction, we will hold them accountable.

I don't think Farage said quite that. If I am recalling correctly, the sense was more that Tate expresses things that seem to speak to a lot of young men at the moment because they feel emasculated. He seems middle of the road on Tate himself.

It’s extremely unlikely that either of the Tates will be tried for their alleged criminal behaviour in either Romania or the UK now.

With the caveat that we don’t know what external pressures Romania were put under from the point the brothers were first arrested, it’s regrettable that they couldn’t get the two in front of a court for over two years.

Had the Romanians got their act together, they would have been convicted (or exonerated) by now and Trump wouldn’t have had this option.

So he is obviously prepared to go in to bat for him; though he did refer to the serious charges against Tate. So he's gone in to bat for him, but bat cautiously, a bit like Geoff Boycott.
