I have friends who would shun me, and a sibling who would still talk to me but definitely wouldn't understand but none of that is as terrifying as the potential loss of my livelihood.

Thank you so much for posting about this - I have read the book twice and enjoy hearing HJ speak in videos I've seen: she is logical and articulate in a way I can't quite manage in speech. Have just bought a ticket.

I'm slightly nervous to be out in public as a dinosaur/suffragette/Nazi/whatever I'm supposed to be as I'm usually pretty quiet about my thinking on this matter for cowardly work-related and family reasons. I'm expecting to have to walk through protesters but hoping to find friendly fellow dinos inside.

That's Sophie Molly the very deeply unhinged activist and TW rainbow green member from Aberdeen that even the most lunatic Green party members couldn't endorse during the election.
