They still don't totally preclude violent men from going to women's prison, though, as far as I can make out.

Good grief. I thought the MoJ weren't putting violent men in prison with women? Especially men who threaten violence against women?

Maybe Marianna Spring should apply her fact checking skills to this story. YANBU btw but the BBC is a captured cesspit, on this and other issues, and sadly like many outlets has destroyed its credibility.
