Employment Tribunal Case to Protect Single-Sex Facilities at Work

Dear Mumsnet Members,

I have issued an employment tribunal complaint against NHS England to protect single-sex facilities at work.

A preliminary hearing will be held in early October 2024. I would be very grateful for some urgent gardening support at CrowdJustice. I won't add a link here as it is against Mumsnet rules.

It would be interesting to hear other people's views on legislation around single-sex facilities at WORK. However, I won't be commenting much on this public forum whilst the case is on-going.

Yours faithfully,
Faye Russell-Caldicott / FayeRC

88% of harvest carrots have been lifted for the fast approaching prel hearing, so just a bit more needed.

@AutumnCrow This campaign has a stretch target of 70k and the court case is likely to take a long time. The initial target is to cover the first stage, which is a preliminary hearing in early Oct.

Over 85% now,

AutumnCrow · 18/09/2024 18:51

With 17 days to go, the fundraising window stretches into a 'pay day' period, so I'm pretty sure there will be more donations coming nearer the end of the month.

169 pledges now. So good to see grass roots support like this.

It's exciting that tonight could be the last day of campaigning for the preliminary hearing costs and we might be good to go soon.

Have done a little digging this afternoon!

ArabellaScott · 18/09/2024 15:19

£650 to go.

UtopiaPlanitia · 18/09/2024 14:31

Freed up a few more quid to donate again - this issue desperately needs to be resolved for women’s safety and dignity.

anyolddinosaur · 18/09/2024 13:39

£4,105 now, just needs a bit more.

Holeinamole · 18/09/2024 12:55

Pledged. Good luck!

Spreadeagler · 18/09/2024 12:39

I have pledged. Not far to go and an extremely important cause.

ArabellaScott · 18/09/2024 12:28

£15 away from £4k.

ArabellaScott · 18/09/2024 12:28

Bump!

anyolddinosaur · 18/09/2024 08:18

160 pledges now but space for some more. Lets keep publicising this .

AmaryllisNightAndDay · 18/09/2024 07:56

Gardened for this.

Taking on the NHS is important. They are a huge employer and very influential.

YellowRoom · 17/09/2024 15:00

£3865 - not far to go for £4800

AutumnCrow · 17/09/2024 14:55

I finally managed to make a donation, and I'll invite a friend to participate too - we both donated to Jo Phoenix's crowdfunder, iirc.

These cases are so valuable, and it's brave women who bring them for all of us.

153 separate pledges is really good stuff.

ArabellaScott · 17/09/2024 13:56

£985 left to raise.

FayeRC · 17/09/2024 12:51

Hello all,

I've lowered the target to take into account a more specific VAT calculation and I also need to reach the initial target v soon to cover preliminary costs, and it's an all or nothing target.

I've only got a bit more to go, it's at 78%! Grateful for your support!

anyolddinosaur · 17/09/2024 10:19

Have you been in touch with your SEEN network? Might find more people willing to donate there.

ArabellaScott · 16/09/2024 22:20

Getting there!

YellowRoom · 16/09/2024 19:59

£3710!

Skyellaskerry · 16/09/2024 12:40

Bump

I don't think employers would know whether or not their employees have got a GRC.
