Employment Tribunal Case to Protect Single-Sex Facilities at Work

Dear Mumsnet Members,

I have issued an employment tribunal complaint against NHS England to protect single-sex facilities at work.

A preliminary hearing will be held in early October 2024. I would be very grateful for some urgent gardening support at CrowdJustice. I won't add a link here as it is against Mumsnet rules.

It would be interesting to hear other people's views on legislation around single-sex facilities at WORK. However, I won't be commenting much on this public forum whilst the case is on-going.

Man Friday caught my attention, discussed on here. I was radicalised by Mumsnet.

I would read the Active topics on the app and got fired up by posts from Datun in particular. Then I realised I could save the topic as a favourite and read everything (not very bright). Radicalisation complete.

My moment was coming across the feminism board here on MN after I found myself nodding along to JKRowling's and Sharron Davies' tweets and media articles. I am forever grateful to the knowledgeable posters on here for providing information when stuff I was being told by friends/family just felt wierd; 'support our friend' blah blah.

A devout follower of the Omnicause lectured me about why I was wrong about everything. Having the whole list of right think dumped on me in one go was actually quite helpful as I can remember thinking 'WTF is all this?' and I think the whole package sounds madder than when it is fed to you in tiny amounts.

For me, it was Rachel McKinnon next to two women, placed next to two women, placed "second" and "third" next to they. More than a head shorter.

That caused me to go down a rabbit hole of WTF!?!! What?! And that too? None of this is right!

Be kind? Why? What have these cheating, abusive blokes done to deserve it?

Funnily enough the seeds I ordered turned up with a random addition of carrots. If I plant them the slugs will just eat them all. Dropped the odd carrot in the pot.

Contrary to the oft repeated TRA mantra of if you knew a trans person you'd change your mind it was a young relative stating they were trans that peaked me. I'd not thought about it much until then but my reaction to something new is to research the facts. And if you look at this rationally then of course you are horrified at what has been done to children, especially autistic children.

I've been told "you must support a relative " - and my response was that i wouldn't support a child to put their hand in a flame so I wont support them in something that is damaging. Their parents fell for the whole "suicide risk" line and it was being pushed at them but medical professionals at the time. I will never forgive the NHS for going along with this..

Question: What was the single piece of information that made you go from #BeKind over the edge to the dark side? For me, it was realising that 90-95% of transwomen don't have any surgery, nor they want that. Then I asked myself, why not...

When can we expect the supreme court decision on the definition of a woman? Might be helpful for my case but just thinking about timelines...

In the meantime my CrowdJustice still needs carrots. Let's make those single-sex facilities ours again!
