Premiere of Trans Widows Film on Friday 30th Aug

Vaishnavi Sundar's long awaited documentary that was three years in the making, is having a worldwide premiere on the 30th of August, 7pm UK time.

Behind The Looking Glass is a feature-length film about the lives of women whose partners have/want to medically transition.

Absolutely superb film (and beautifully animated/produced/directed). Congratulations to the wonderful Vashnavi and to Tinsel and all the trans widows and children who contributed. Hope that it is watched by the world!

I'm in the same position but will will watch it the first chance I get.

I really hope the film will help more people to understand the reality of what transwidows and their children go through, rather than the sparkle & glitter fantasy punted by TA and the complicit media.

I can't wait but I'm also expecting it to be quite upsetting. Transwidows (and children of transitioners) have been treated so appallingly. An important watch though.
