The Telegraph reporting on worrying data showing that young women who've been persuaded that they've been "born in the wrong body" and are on cross sex hormones are experiencing major problems from their use with 95 per cent developing pelvic floor dysfunction.

"Around 87 per cent of the participants had urinary symptoms such as incontinence, frequent toilet visits and bed-wetting, while 74 per cent had bowel issues including constipation or being unable to hold stools or wind in. Some 53 per cent suffered from sexual dysfunction".

And our sainted NHS have been contributing to this without conducting any research.

Trans men taking testosterone getting ‘postmenopausal’ problems aged 28’

Study found many had bladder and bowel symptoms they would expect to see in a woman after the menopause

In years to come, people will be reading about this appalling, irresponsible experiment with utter disbelief.

People are reading about it now with utter disbelief!

I hope in the future people will be reading about how the people who have suppressed this knowledge and deliberately encouraged young women to ruin their health were brought before tribunals and courts and given appropriate punishment up to and including prison sentences.

That's been debunked. Try again.

No, it has not.

It's not gender sexism, it's fact. I don't know why FWR persists in stating that men & women's brains are on average the same. It's not just trauma or size

And brains ARE gendered. Obvs there is variation, but the average woman and average man DO have measurable differences in their brains.

Differences in brain caused by external events like trauma

And physical size because women are smaller

no measurable statistically significant innate brain differences

take your gender sexism back to the dark Ages

Apart from size, what measurable differences are you referring to?

This is merely musing, but if a hypothetical, very closeted pedophilic, possibly gay, man had a little boy, who gave off "effeminate " vibes, I wonder how that man would react. I especially wonder how that man would react towards a child towards whom he was attracted.

You think Jennings' father may have abused him....?

I read because I couldn't quite get your point then I read about the brains and it hit me like flat earth.

You want to say that girls have gendered brains from birth because at age 8 they rebelled against pony tails.
Take your sexualisation of young children back to wherever you crawled out of.

Hmm! How is it sexualising young children to say that gay men and lesbians have brains more similar to the opposite sex? I literally said that young children do NOT feel attracted to people.

There is scientific evidence that gay men have partly feminised brains & lesbians partly masculinised brains.

And I'm talking about pronounced and persistent gnc behaviour, not just refusing ponytails. Stop strawmanning.

Slothtoes · 29/08/2025 07:46

These poor young women, what a vicious physical and emotional punishment. Their crime has only been being autistic and or attracted to women in a homophobic environment. It’s horrific.

AliasGrace47 · 29/08/2025 07:41

TempestTost · 29/05/2024 22:54

Is that true?

I don't doubt you, but for many years the truism I have heard is that there is no correlation between sexual abuse and homosexuality.

I suppose these days I would not be surprised to find that was a lie, but it's not really something I had thought to doubt.

Imo there's 2 reasons for this. The hormonal imbalance- higher T for girls, lower for boys- that causes homosexuality& bisexuality, at least to some extent, is often caused by stress on the mother during pregnancy. It stands to reason that a child born to a stressed mother is more likely to be coming into an environment where they may be at risk of abuse.

Secondly, gnc children are often more likely to have less friends and be more vulnerable/bullied. Again, this makes them the kind of child abusers like to pick on.

The thing is, I believe we all understand here that for research to be something we can generalize about, we need to be talking about the same group of people.

There are clearly a number of groups who get drawn under the trans umbrella and I don't think it's in any way clear they are related.

Among youth, it seems like many are likely trying to understand their own sexuality. There is a reason we recognize "types" like the effeminate gay man or butch lesbian - it's because our emerging sexuality interacts with cultural norms around who we want to be sexually attractive to, at a very deep level. So most pre teens and teens are trying to create a sense of identity, but those who are not heterosexual have a slightly different path to follow.

That being said, we also know that youth who have BPD, or have been sexually assaulted, or are autistic also seems to be more likely than average to think they are gender confuse.

Straight males, and small children, seem to be different groups again.

I don't think we can apply the generalizations about sexuality across these populations.

Sorry I know it's an old thread, but this point is interesting. I don't think though that effeminate gay men or butch lesbians are just being gnc to attract partners.

Most are gnc from a young age, before they're attracted to anyone. And there's plenty of lesbian couples where both are feminine, or, less frequently, both masculine. I know less about gay men, but I'd guess the same applies to them to some degree.

I agree that attracting partners plays some role, but it's more complex. I see that w your comment about 'at a very deep level' you may mean it's more unconscious, but I still think it's more than just about attraction per se. It should also be remembered that butch lesbians & effeminate gay men have brains a bit more simular to the opposite sex than the average, so their attraction is just one of the things which is as a result different from the average person of their gender.

It's common knowledge, RoyalCorgi. The Guardian article references it.

Studies of castrati singers, human males castrated before puberty to preserve their high voices, have shown that they lived no longer than non-castrated male singers.

Have you got links to those studies, Chersfrozenface?

This has been such a knowledgable and measured thread. So incredibly depressing at what’s been done to our young people. Abuse touted as rainbow sprinkles right before all our eyes and encouraged by health and education professionals. The exact two groups of people you expect to protect vulnerable young people. Makes me equally angry and so worried for my DC navigating this mess.

Agreed. The tragedy at the centre of what's happening to young people - young women in particular - is heartbreaking. And to know that the NHS, medical associations and countless national institutions are still cheering on this ideology ignoring the reality of what's happening to so many young people is terrifying.

This is what upsets and angers me too. My family consists mostly of people working in health and education and we are all horrified. A close relative was a psychiatrist working in CAHMS who retired earlier than he might because he felt the care he could give was so compromised. I retired from secondary education before it all kicked off, though I saw it creep into FE. (Luckily I was in a sector where it didn’t get much traction.) I worry about my grandchildren and the lies and nonsense they’ve been exposed to in school.

Absolutely agree as a retired TA. I remember a single incident of a pupil becoming trans-identified in a 30 year career. Now there appear to be entire friendship groups. How can safeguarding and vulnerability concerns not be at the forefront of their mind? The thought of transing a child without ever informing their parents is so far beyond what is acceptable.

I know there are a few extreme scenarios where you might not inform a parent of something concerning that a child has said/done. In my experience it was only ever a tiny handful of situations, all of which involved parents we strongly suspected to be abusers. But it seems this was done routinely for trans-identifying children. My grandson is only 2 and I am so grateful that the Cass report has come out before he begins school.

But anyway, they're all studies of human males.

Even if testosterone is a factor in males living shorter lives than females, it is perfectly possible that increasing testosterone in females might shorten their lives even more than the hormone shortens male lives, because female physiology is different.

Golly gosh, perhaps it's the testosterone? Should definitely give massive doses of it to girls and women.

Studies of castrati singers, human males castrated before puberty to preserve their high voices, have shown that they lived no longer than non-castrated male singers.

The point about these groups being that their lifestyles were similar if not identical.

How much of any lengthened lifespan is due to hormones and how much is due to differences in lifestyle?

You’re right about not everything necessarily being wrong simply because of the unethical behaviour of the proponent. But I think gender ideology and the treatment of children who do not ‘fit’ their sex (whether through behaviour, or acquired / congenital genital abnormalities) is terribly tarnished by sexual abuse and grooming.

I agree that not everything is wrong because their creator/proponent was unethical. But when it comes to scientific research any results will automatically be tainted by poor or unethical practice. Because in that case the product (scientific conclusion/results) is inextricably tied to the process (research). And Moneys thoughts/transgender theory are usually presented as science.
