And as usual spectacularly misinterpreting what we are saying. I have never seen anyone on here say what they are claiming. I can only guess it's deliberate

I didn't realise I even had it! Apparently it's channel 509 (sky), for future reference Grin

Most Americans think the Internet belongs to them, Beyond. I've come across it so many times. Even the Gender Critical reddit subs tend to assume that anyone posting in English is a fellow American.

I don't imagine anyone much watches Fox News in the UK. It's definitely not likely to appeal to feminists or anyone with socialist views. The closest I come to watching American TV is that I sometimes watch clips from John Oliver on Youtube. I feel very sorry for Americans stuck with Donald Trump as President. I would feel so ashamed if that man represented me.

BeyondUnderthinking · 15/03/2017 15:34

Fox News, lol! Because a bunch of British Radfems hobviously watch a right wing American news channel!

Americocentric bunch of doughnuts Grin

Having read the messages sent to you MissiAmphetimine I am utterly revolted. I am so very, very sorry that you were sent such poison. I need eye bleach, and something for nausea. Talk about AGP and narcissistic rage. They attack us because they will never be us and they will never convince others that they are us. They are men - and particularly nasty stupid ones. No woman would speak to another as they do you.

Thing is, unless they hide themselves onto the dark web, their fetishism and their ugliness are "hiding" in plain sight. The trans reddit subs, for example, are easily found, easily read - and once anyone sniffs something rotten about trans activist claims, and looks them up - well then the whole thing dissolves. Because they spew it all over the internet - photos, descriptions, profiles. It's no good trying to claim that transwomen just "wanna pee" when the very unpleasant truth is out there, just a Google away. I have linked to trans reddit subs and it's a total eye opener for anyone who looks. They may be your enemies, Missi, but they are probably their own worst enemies. Just a look at the truth they tell each other about their sexual obsessions and the way they speak to women, and any sympathy washes clean away.

Bambambini · 14/03/2017 20:45

I looked st NMs. Nothing on Transgender issues. Doesn't seem to be on the radar their at all - so slow moving unless your talking about baby names and being a sexy mummy.

ArcheryAnnie · 14/03/2017 16:28

I too am totally offended by their claim that MN is smaller than NM. And also offended that they think we watch Fox News. Because that is not exactly the natural home for radical feminists, no?

WobblyLegs5 · 13/03/2017 11:00

I read something recently disputed the sui figures often quoted for trans people- the study they use to back up their stats was of 2000+ people but only 20 odd trans people, unlike mermaids claim that it was 2000+ trans people. & all or most trans people already had other existing medical/mh conditions that increased their risk of sui.

Can't remember where I read it though.....

On another point -sympathy- I see confusion or mixing up of personal & political, or maybe individual & sociall? ? Unsure the best terms. But I have total sympathy for anyone with gender dysphoria. But oppose, agressively, the TRA's movement. That's two different things imo & I can both care about individuals experience without having to lie down & accept the movement that errodes my rights, my safety, my identity.

MissiAmphetamine · 13/03/2017 10:30

Haha, love that, helpimitchy!! Grin

And yes to PPs, about the transactivists being vile and misogynistic. They don't really want to achieve "safety" for themselves, they just want to bully and dominate women Angry

venusinscorpio · 06/03/2017 23:40

And to add that you are v. brave

Second that. I read all those messages. Those people are vile misogynistic bullying cunts. Not the good kind.

venusinscorpio · 06/03/2017 23:38

Yes we'd really love to share intimate space with you. Who wouldn't?

Btw, we bleed. That's what women apart from a tiny minority with rare chromosomal abnormalities do. You'd best get used to it if you want to hang out with women. You'll find the odd overflowing sanitary bin in our loos, because often it's not seen as a high priority to change it enough. Shock horror!

WomanScorned · 06/03/2017 23:36

That wasn't easy to read, Missi.

I just want to echo what PP'so have already said, as I'm too sad and angry to formulate an original response.

And to add that you are v. brave. I'm sorry to say I gave up after just a handful of nasty threats-but they were not in the same league as the vitriol spewed at you.

Flowers for you.

Pawpainting · 06/03/2017 23:32

Ive just had a look at that r/terfisaslur sub. It is disgusting. Especially this one (warning: the vilest misogyny imaginable)

"shut the fuck up about the nasty bleeding gashes between your hairy legs or I'll give you TERFS other bleeding gashes to worry about"

Written by a trans woman. I wish more people were aware of this kind of abuse directed at women on a regular basis. It's indefensible .

Oh and they're talking about us again. Hi guys!

Transwomen are always innocent victims, aren't they? Have you seen this www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/03/06/gender-sex-offender-bbc-crimewatch-appeal-attacker-could-living/ ? It's incredible that even a man who is on the run after committing 2 rapes is still given the pronoun 'she' throughout the article. Lest he be offended, I suppose. And this isn't the Guardian!

helpimitchy · 06/03/2017 22:20

Wow, they're so vicious and misogynistic aren't they? Truly inadequate and threatened by the mere existence of women.

Poor things. They're so pointless.

MissiAmphetamine · 06/03/2017 20:14

Hi Pawpainting! It's nice to bump into other GC sub users elsewhere Smile
And thanks, all Wine
There's another subreddit, r/terfisaslur that collates transactivist online harassment and nastiness towards any woman who questions the current narrative. It's interesting to look through, and as you say, notice the stereotypical male socialisation. It makes it very clear that their "identities" are meaningless.

venusinscorpio · 06/03/2017 16:47

Missi Flowers

Pawpainting · 06/03/2017 15:56

And that's another thing I've noticed. If anyone comes onto MN or GC and shares their traumatic experiences, even trans women, the overwhelming response from women is always "I'm sorry this happened to you". You know, supportive. Thats female socialisation

OP posts:
Pawpainting · 06/03/2017 15:34

Hi Missi I recognise you from GC Smile I'm so sorry you have received such hate. You are right, they are nothing more than entitled (and delusional) males. For all their handwringing about how GCers and "TERFS" wish them dead, I have never, ever seen anyone on those subreddits use death threats or threats of violence or vile personal abuse like they do. Are there figures that prove they are the most vulnerable group on the planet, or is it sex work causing that spike? Female sex workers are at 18 times more risk than other women too as I understand. Are black female sex workers at even more risk, as black trans women are? Is sex work being taken into consideration to get a valid picture of risk?

I would guess not, as the groups of (actually female) liberal feminists who have drunk the Trans KoolAid are also pro "sex work". Pretty sure the transwacktivists are, too.
I don't think it is allowed to say that men who solicit the services of prostituted women or transwomen tend to be more violent than the average male.
(As with "transphobia" , radical feminists will be accused of being "whorephobic" and thereby causing prositited women to be murdered by males. Via witchcraft, presumably.)

Poppyred85 · 06/03/2017 12:48

Missi I'm sorry you had such vile things said to you. Their vitriol for someone who has been through your experiences is breathtaking. I can't imagine any woman using another's abusive experience to abuse them further. Their lack of compassion and empathy, their choice of language and turn of phrase shows their misogyny in all its hateful, twisted form. Their complete inability to see that it's their own behaviour that shows how male they really are regardless of how they dress or whether they have transitioned is ironic. Their behaviour doesn't disgust me because they are transwomen. Their behaviour as human beings does.

MrsWooster · 06/03/2017 11:26

What bowlinghedgehog said, both times.
notcaryl I don't "not respect" transwomen; everybody am what they am. What I can't and won't tolerate is transactivists not respecting women and our reality and experience. It's not about peering under toilet doors, it's about what everyone else above has explained and reexplained: women's singular experience based on our biology within this society. Transwomen have their singular experience AS WELL, not instead. This is not Top Trumps.

HemlockIsSpartacus · 06/03/2017 11:10

Scissor Probably not. Though I wouldn't worry about asking them for stats to back up their claims, I got put on the BlockBot last time I asked for actual statistics.

Scissorcisters · 06/03/2017 10:33

It will be their ultimate undoing, it's what initially woke me up. I can recognise male bullying when I see it.

No doubt as this issue is becoming more visible now they will cut back on the hate crime which will be good.

How vunerable they are, seems like their only valid and extremely powerful argument in trumping womens rights, that and transing children to keep them alive. Women naturally want to protect vunerable people and rightly so.
