I was on holiday in Mallorca recently and went to a restaurant every night as no restaurant in the hotel.
Anyway, in one of them a group of British people who lived in the town had the table next to us. They were drinking Chicken Wine. My husband thought they must have brought it in and paid corkage or something …but no! It was actually on the wine list.
Chicken wine is a Mumsnet term if you have not come across it before. It is French.
We try to drink Mallorcan wines when we stay there.
