Once I was down to blue and purple I spotted the red herring but had already got yellow and green so didn’t fall for it

Got green and yellow, and had an idea of the remaining categories (although not so specific) but didn’t know enough words to fit. Guesswork paid off.

As others have said, my connection for purple was a lot more vague. I had to google a couple of words, and I don’t recognise one of the blues in that context.

I didn’t see the red herring!

Today's difficulty was 3 out of five. I'm not sure how they work out how difficult it is. The connection for purple was just ridiculously over the top
