It's a bit of a pang seeing the twin towers like that, isn't it.

So much.

But that's often the case with this - Diana looking young and strong and happy (yesterday?), the old Pride flag today from just before the progress flag was invented - the world wasn't universally better in the old days, but it has taken some pretty grim turns at times.

I thought the same. Spent quite some time looking at that image. So sad. I guess it’s also because everyone in the photo was so unaware.

We've had #1 before with the comfortable well-lit room and the Christmas tree and the books and the lovely lovely dog. I do know that there must have been a massive staff of servants somewhere to keep the show on the road.
