It was - my guess was they were a gypsy farm labour group, turned up for the threshing (possibly with their own steam engine), hence the distinctive clothes.

all those blimmin adverts blocking everything and not going away when you try to cancel them, are sooo annoying, I think MN is quite usable by comparison!
