Welcome! I think the earlier you can try and test is 9-10dpo although still early for some if the implantation was later. I had something like implantation bleeding on 10dpo and today 12dpo tests are still negative.

Hey, thank you! In my first pregnancy I thought I was out as I had a 3 day period, turned out to be an implantation bleed, something felt off and I tested a few days later and got BFP! The wait is so hard! You’ll probably find out in the next couple of days so! Fingers crossed for you 😊

So far so good. Symptoms are progressing. Test at 12pm today 11dpo is darker so I am feeling much more optimisitic.

Woohoo! Congrats! Fab lines for 11dpo. When did you DTD around ovulation? Trying to not wear ourselves out too early but also want to give us a good chance!

Hi, jumping on, I had a chemical pregnancy in May and one last month, I got a positive digital yesterday. Nerves are terrible and I keep going toilet to check... I emailed local midwifes and they are referring me to epu for hormone monitoring which im glad about... I dont know if this is a success yet but hoping it is. I am 41 though and have 3 children 17 15 and 13 so am sure my age isn't helping!

I tested again today, still no positive line… I wish I could wait till a missed period lol… not quite sure of my exact dpo but boobs still hurt, never had this before a period before. Have you tested yet?

Honestly this cycle we gave up. I lost my grandmother end of Aug and had some issues with Inlaws. So we only DTD twice I got a + 2nd Sept it was peak and we DTD 12 hours later 2am! Then the next day PM on the 3rd. That's it.
I was convinced it was a normal cycle and a total bust as we didn't hit the fertile week before O with EWCM. Normally we DTD every other day 5 days before and 3 days after! So this was the first cycle was only twice on + and FF says I ovulated 2 days later when my temperature stayed up for a few days.

It was a shock. Truly.

But wow, only twice - it was meant to be! Looks like the sperm were waiting there at the right time if you ovulated 2 days after, so all in all, perfect timing!

Big fat congrats - keep us all updated! Your lines look really great but understand you will still be cautiously optimistic

I imagine the stress. I am also 1986 and I have also 3 children 18,17, 5 and I had also 2 non viable pregnancies in the last months. I never had a similar experience before and I think the basic reason is my age. It just needs more time to get the golden egg. I hope that this time everything will go well for you 🤞

Hello fellow hopefuls :) hoping for some advice. For those of you who’ve read this thread since the weekend… I had a positive preg test on sat AM, followed a digital negative sat and Sunday am. Then I thought my period started Sunday, one day early. But instead of the usual heavy 2 days then medium flow etc. it was a heavy morning then 2 light days. Is this normal for a chemical? I read that implantation bleeding doesn’t have clots and I saw clots, plus brown, pink and red blood, so I don’t think it’s that. Xx

I can definitely relate to feeling a bit underwhelmed at appointments. Was it just the technician performing your ultrasound? I think the technicians are quite limited in what they can tell you. It's not until you see your consultant or GP that you will get more information on what the results may mean.

As you may know, fibroids are very common, there is a high percentage of women who have them by their 40s, I think something like at least a third. There are three different main types, which grow at different levels of the uterine lining, and the ones closest to the inner lining are usually the ones that can affect fertility. But it's hard to say whether any of them affect fertility at all as they range in placement and size so much. As I have mentioned I have one smallish one on the left hand side, and I do wonder if it may be something that's affecting our chances each cycle. Quite a lot of women end up having them removed, either because they cause issues like heavy bleeding or may affect fertility etc.

I think that the area where you ovulated can remain visible on the scan as the 'corpus luteum' which is what sustains the uterine lining until the egg has had a chance to be fertilizer and implant. It was visible on my last ultrasound over a year ago in my ultrasound.

Thanks for thinking of me and my upcoming hycosy 💜 I am halfway through this cycle and think I'm about to ovulate, seem to be getting more ovulation pain this month which is a bit concerning but just rolling with the punches until I have the procedure on the 12th next month. We are still trying but I just have it in mind that I'll probably be having this hycosy and it's helping me feel a bit more like at least something it happening to find answers.

I had a BFN yesterday again 13dpo. I don’t really feel any symptoms so I’m sure AF is coming, so wasn’t surprised when I got some pink mixed with cm when wiping yesterday (about 7pm). Checked my pad from overnight and I’ve had nothing since… This never happens but it’d be sods law that my body wants to mess with me!

@GoneWithTheWind4 that sounds really confusing. I’ve no experience or advice but I can see why it’d leave you wondering! X

@GoneWithTheWind4 it can't be implantation. Just checking have you done another pregnancy test just to check it's definitely negative? My only concern would be a potential ectopic. If the test is negative though it's probably just your period mucking you around, it sucks I'm sorry :(

I’m CD12 today, first period after MMC in July and still bleeding, more than spotting as it’s fresh red but quite light and not proper flow. I know the first cycle can be irregular but it’s hard not to worry (and get frustrated) when they usually last 4 days. It also seems to come on in the evening after nothing all day, has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve been testing with CB advanced and still showing low for estregen rise, which probably makes sense. Last cycle I started seeing high on CD11 and ovulated around CD22.

We just want to get back to trying again and I’m feeling impatient!

@GoneWithTheWind4 i had chenicals but it was obvious my new cycle atarted and I was testing for a few days to make sure it went negative. If you can test. All the best and so sorry.

Hi ladies, longtime lurker first time poster. Hope you all don’t mind me joining in this journey with you, ttc second child my first is almost 16 so a huge age gap. Always wanted more kids but relationship ended and nothing felt quite right until now when I’m 40 😳 partner has a 8 year old too so this would be our first together.

Anyway stopped Desogestrel at the end of August, period I think 3rd September pretty sure it was since the ovulation symptoms fit with dates.

Started clear blue advanced digital tests last week and got high ferility on cd8 which has continued until today still flashing but on cd14 where is my peak? Why hasn’t it arrived?

we want this so badly but my clock is ticking away in my ear and I want to be at the next stage not worrying something has gone awry.

can anyone give advice? Inspirational stories? Anything to keep my hopes high because despite me knowing chances are less at my age I feel I would be such a better parent now, we are all so happy and another little one to love would just be the icing on the cake.

8DPO today and stupidly took a test which was of course negative. Going to try and hold out for a few more days before testing again. Boobs a bit sore but I usually get that pre-period and then literally no other symptoms so starting to feel negative about this month.

@GoneWithTheWind4 I dont think this is implantation bleeding because you would have it before the positive and you wouldn't get a negative afterwards. With my chemical I had also clots.

@Baby2pls I am in the exact same situation. BFN today 13dpo, 3 days after of something I thought it was implantation bleeding so I really feel my body tries to mess with me. Yesterday I had really intense cramps and I felt that AF will come but nothing today. I lost any hopes with todays negative and started keto again.( I stopped Keto in December that I started ttc and put on 15kgs 😬 )
@Mallowmagic1 another 40 year old here 🙋‍♀️with my oldest son almost 19. The only advice I can give you is to track ovulation and test late to avoid excessive stress (i know easier said than done). You also have another child so you have proven fertility, just have in mind that it might take longer but totally possible. Good luck!🤞

Oh I absolutely understand, I’m already spotting symptoms even though it’s not possible nevermind what I will be like in the next few weeks. Try not to be disheartened, a negative so early is absolutely to be expected but you want to know yesterday not wait another week. Don’t feel negative, should it be negative eventually you’ll be disappointed but right now try to enjoy the possibility you won’t be any less disappointed and maybe this will be your month keeping everything crossed for you. How long have you been trying?
